 Had one match earlier today on the 2.00 build where the tank simply self destructed from full health. Not sure what happened since I wasn't moving at speed (and tested this anyway, does't kill you from full health to ram a wall at full speed). There was a passenger as well. We both simply showed up as "X died". Completely unsure what caused this but I know I don't want it to ever happen in my expensive stuff.

 Where were you at? Did you drive out of bounds? I haven't paid attention how far out those boundaries are, though they do seem pretty far. I watched a teammate drive a dropship out of bounds earlier though, it seemed to be where he was crashing from getting shot down.

 Right inside one of the gates on biomass. Definitely not an out of bounds (which is a suicide anyway).

 Other threads have led me to suspect a low speed collision with a light post may have did the full 3k damage somehow, which is clearly broken if true.

 Oh. oh.. I've lightly bumped into the wall of the gate with a tank before. took out 75% of my tank's HP instantly.
 Its a collision error that many vehicles have due to their falling physics conflicting with the repelling physics of solid objects. How this actually occurs I have no idea, but I think it has something to do with the game thinking the object pushed the tank into the air, but the tank didn't really move, so it calculates fall damage for the tank on every pulse this conflict occurs. This is just my Guess.

 Apparently even with a layer of energy shielding and another of thick nano-reinforced armor plating, it vaporizes on contact with a simple florescent bulb-tipped rod of metal. If that's the problem, the collisions are just a little bit off...
