During one of the old school real wars of Dust. I honestly forget the actually one but some of you can help me out on this..mainly Radar and Zatara and I forget which AE director it was at the time I dealt with. Anyways you guys went to war. And people were lining up to pick sides.
Even tho some of you dummys tease me for my personal in game playing skills not many of you ever tease me about my organizing skills. I was good at getting players together and organizing mass attacks.
Zatara knew this because we were allies. Radar and OH knew this because we use to fight.
Both teams approached me and wanted to hire me..not as a ringer but to organize teams to fight the other team to stack timers.
They approached me at the same time. I accepted both of their deals and they paid my corp alot of isk and have us a bunch of districts haha.
The deal I made was that my corp would remain neutral and not fight for the other side. I made both them that deal lol. I had both teams clarify which corps were their allies. And which ones I could still attack so my players could still fight and play the game.
As you can Imagine these big corps only cared about their key allies the rest were cannon fodder that they used for numbers.
The deal was only for like 5 days of neutrality. Obviously at one point I would have to pick sides if it carried on. After the 5 days a new deal was struck and we attacked allies of OH and as AE was friendlier towards us.
Win win for my team. Haha. Thank you for the isk!
Now. Who's gonna admit their secrets?
Which one of you is the bastard who started the attack Roman coalition lol. I enjoyed the challenge! But alas this is a video game. And numbers count. And you Bastards got me good lol.
My players will tell you although I was made in meetings with yas..in reality I wasn't upset. It's a video game. And I'd laugh about it on comms with them then come out swinging in meetings with you guys

Back when 0.H wiped STB off SVER prime the 1st time ;). We didn't actually want to fight STB we were hoping TP was going to ring for you guys like they had been the previous week. We didn't actually want to demoralize you guys so badly that DDB would be later formed we just wanted to have good fights. So sorry to the leaders of STB during EON's reign we didn't want to mess you guys up and we had nothing against you.
why not just attack TP then?

I've said this a few times but I'll say it again. I squaded with the twins (Annie and Calamity) and they taught me the glitch. I didn't have melee mods at the time but was still dropping 30 bombs in pubs with it. I taught dengru the glitch, though he managed to spec into melee damage mods before me. A while later zBroadway saw me in an NPC corp and recruited me into AE (he knew me from Arrogance). They were pleasantly surprised that they accidentally recruited their greatest trump card vs EoN, ironically an ex-EoN merc that got rejected from TP. The rest is bacon. As someone who fought both sides I can confirm the twins did it first they just weren't any good with it It's not that we weren't any good with it, we were beastly using it, we just used it sparingly. Not a ton of reasons to use it unless we missed a round with the shotgun or got a dud round. Hell first day uprising dropped I stumbled on the glitch and by the second day when caldri logi *caldaribee* build was dominating my brother and I would pretend we were actual bees, find a random person on the out skirts of the map, and run at them with out shooting yelling "not our queen!" Into team chat as we beat the ever living **** out of the poor victim with the glitch. We only told a select few people about it cause we didn't want to see it abused to high hell. **** I remember building a cal logi build with nothing but pure microfibril stims and the one time event reward items that gave melee damage % up along with sprint speed mixed in. The build hit for just shy of 800 hp a swing. I still have a letter in my inbox from a random person I hit so hard at the right angle as he was jumping that he got stuck in a wall from the hit. Apparently on his screen his character didn't stop on the wall and kept flying past the entire map boundary lol. So yes, we found a glitch. Yes we used it well. Yes I feel no remorse. In the end it was funny to watch how Ari took it and rolled faces. To each their own.
I was actually going to say that. I remember you guys only using it if you were close enough and missed the shotgun shots. People can even see you guys using it in the STB v Imperfect battles as well. I didn't know you guys used the glitch but I was sure that you guys were the first to effectively use the melee as a weapon.
People just don't know how much they owe their playstyles to the two of you. Sometimes I see new guys on the field in MLT scout fits with shotguns and I just smile.

Yeah min assault with a bons can definitely be traced back to them. The min assault is just a product of the assault suit buff. But the playstyle is originally the twins.
I believe they started as scouts but then switched to logi/shotgun combo. Noone was using the shotgun like they were. Back then, with hit detection being fugged as it was, it wasn't the thing to do. The twins were the ones who showed it was deadly. Many of the beta's players played MAG. And in MAG, heavy suit/shotgun was the fit you would use if you were going to use a shotgun. Some guys thought they could do the same and used heavy or assault suits with shotguns.
But that fit wasn't viable back then. The twins were one of the very few that were deadly with the shotgun and they were using speed fit/shotgun combinations. And it just took off from there.
One have to remember that the twins were maintaining 8 & 9 K/D ratios with low hp/shotgun fits at the time where the game was the most competitive. Don't think anyone has matched that since. And I don't give a kitten what anyone say either :)...they were the beasts that the beasts were afraid of.

A min assault/shotty is more deadly than a scout. People are more afraid of assault shotguns thN scouts.

If your talking about pure raw damage both suits have the same killing potentail aka both wield the same weapons.

Why tell people the truth about all the stuff they make assumptions about or think they know? It is a lot funnier to watch the conspiracy theories form than tell people what actually happened.

Enough..NS held over 40% of mh with no pressure I never saw the wallet but it was enough to pay whatever we asked for Of course I made my own isk as I never asked for anything from anyone..always donated my paychecks
How much was enough exactly? I mean, a lot of corps had "enough" money. But how much ISK did Nyain San amass over their Dust career?

NS was similar to AE in the fact that a lot of isk went to the players. Heim knows this, ask an NS director for isk and they throw a minimum of 50 mil at you. One time they threw almost 100 at me when Milkman brought up how poor I am. A large percentage went to the players
As for farming, they owned land for a long time but remember that they were inactive after the whole DNS thing. Their districts did not farm or get attacked really, they just sat there. When the community formed the LLoD chat to discuss NS districts, it was I and Shep Grey who talked to NS to switch times and let people attack their inactive districts. It took less than 1 minute to get an "okay".
Last thing I will say is a quote from Bethy. "People are idiots if they think Nyain San is the richest corp. They spend so much mass attacking" Bethy is right, just look at when they were going inactive PC side during DNS, they mass attacked ERA. Do the math and guess how much money they spent on clone packs? I use to get fight cards from NS leadership that had 50 PC battles within one day. Some defenses others attacks with clone packs.
Peggy has more isk than them
I am AE but have had close ties with NS to the point that I was the only non-NS member allowed in certain chats and when certain NS members asked why they were told I was family. Despite this, I won't disclose too much because it is not my place to speak very specific details about their corp. I will say they were very smart with how they operated and Mozzarella was a genius.
I hear you....figure that the game is dead and all of this will be lost history so was just curious how much ISK they really had. One person said they had a 1 Trillion ISK and was just curious if it was true. Sounds absurd to me but he was adamant.
As far as hints go... in Ahrendee, we gave ISK to anyone who needed it as well. We didn't have a paycheck system. When we finally established one, we went severely inactive and had to let go of our districts. But anyone in the corp could attest to it....anyone that needed ISK and wanted it got it. But I wouldn't say we were the most rich.
