problem with in game voip .. is stupid people.. i had to actually seek out the option and turn it off just now because someone was eating down the mic . louly and disgustingly. then theres the people that play music , and the people that have the tv on and the people that have the game sound up too high .. it will be better when its player corps and corp voice chat tho all the noisy inconsiderate people can make their own corp where none of them can hear what anyone elses noise is.. |

Seconded. It's always a royal pain having to rush to mute people who are loud, inconsiderate, or distracting. Very, very much prefer sound to be muted by default. Now, having your own party's or perhaps squad's mics set to unmute is fine. But I can't tell you how many times in the past I've fervently wished for a mute all button or start muted option in other games. |

Voice chat really must be on by default, there just needs to be a MUTE PLAYER that is very easy to get to. Communication is WAAAY too important to just ditch simply because you're afraid to tell someone they are making too much noise. |

we're not afraid, its impossible to tell someone screaming in the mike to shut up because no one can hear anything but the screaming :/ |

I wouldn't say ditched, just limited. Keeping it specific to squad/party/corp or whatever would most likely be more than enough. The people I've encountered on other games don't really seem to care if they're making too much noise, etc. Having to dig through a list of all the people in game to find them to mute is a pain. A good compromise would probably be to just have a good Mute All button always handy, both in game and in lobby. Something simple, like open menu, press square. When you need to shut people up, you most likely need it done "right now." |

Well sure but that's more the exception than the rule, and a MUTE PLAYER would solve that. As is, Ive had a very small percentage of matches with loud morons on comms, but nearly every match suffers from large number of comm-less players. |
