But Dust was a great game not really for the game but the community it fostered. And the Devs were part of our little community. That type of experience you don't get on any game. I want to be honest with you... the game had bad graphics, the hit detection sucked balls, it was laggy and FPS were low. Sometimes it was a chore to play it... but I really liked it. I remember Skirmish 1.0 and the time when dropships could actually ram mercs. Lol One of the best packs that I bought was the Veteran pack when it was for $25. It was worth it and don't ever regret it. Dust may not of captured a huge audience like other shooters but deep in it a community was formed. Alliances, Corporations and so on. Many friendships were made and broken. Just when MAG was around from 2011-2014 and now Dust 2012-2016 (The closed beta counts) I may not off been the best player but I for sure enjoyed pissing off players with the RE lol. Rattati along with the rest of the crew should be proud. Remember when the fixes were deployed and by around the end of 2014 = surprise on a client update that we had no idea it was going to release. The Caldari Production Facility along with the moods really made the game more interesting along with the new sockets. The moods really set the tone of each map giving its own feeling and look as if you stepped into a world but this time you weren't in Kansas you are a mercenary in a hostile environment trying to survive. A game that could achieve player trade, loot, skill points,game currency, and millions of ways to customize your fitting. A game that had it's own identity, elements and features that no other fps has. Dust will forever be in the category of the most memorable games. Hopefully next month I can play and get rid off the stock pile of Tanks that I have lol. When the lastday arrives Dust will be with Battlefield 3, MAG, and Resistance Fall of Man as the best beloved games and not just being part of a community but of a family. I will play again very soon and can't wait what the Dust team will show at FanFest. Should Frame get started on the concept drawings for the new fps game?
