I called it a few back when I said see mag to see what was coming. This sucks cause a PS4 move would of been better. I got a PC that I never game on, my kids do, but not me. To many ways to cheat and hack on pcs. Just watch YouTube videos of PC games or talk to hackers about how easy it is to hack PC games. Also thousands of PS4 owners have said on social media that they would play this again if moved to PS4. Also most that play this don't have the money to move to a PC gaming computer. Free to play gets you many players that play f2p for a reason. Also they chose a console platform to do this game and will fail in moving from it because the player base is console and not PC. There are those that are PC players that moved to PS3 for the game but most by far won't move to PC because of the price of a gaming PC or the amount of cheating/hacking or just why get a computer for one game that's ran by ccp after how they handled this game. Many of us have spent money, time and more money just to get a hey we're shutting down and most of you better spend your tax money on a gaming PC or you'll never play this again. I know there's those that will blast me for this but that's the beauty of truth, it hurts and the weak minded puppets will blast me. I just think most deserved more than what we got today. I'm actually more mad towards the time left, couple of months and that's that. For those that spent money during the silence period while ccp and the cpms knew all along what was going down, you guys have all the right to post what you've been posting. Let them know how you really feel. Now we never have to worry about being banned for saying what we truly feel anymore. No more arse kissing needed. |

So many people posting in the forums are asking for ports to the PS4 instead, or as well as the PC, but it seems like people are forgetting that there's another party aside from CCP in all of this. Sony would have to give the okay and funds for Dust to be ported over. In any other circumstance, this might not be an issue. CCP has a good reputation with Eve, but look at Dust. Promises were made and never kept and the playerbase was absolutely rabid after Fanfest and the Rouge Wedding. For Sony to look at this game and the history it has along with the company that made it and the promises they broke and then be like "Hey, ya know what would be a good idea? Let's pay these guys that ripped us off last year so we can have their new game that hasn't even had any good footage shown and has yet to release a trailer or anything of the sort."
I'm no expert in business, the gaming market, etc... but if someone screws you over, essentially lying to you and your fanbase, are you really going to offer them a second chance until they've proven themselves trustworthy once more?

Good point, it's a slap to the player base tho. I mean as for the end date relative to the date of said announcement. |

Oh , they showed the footage already at FF ... the legion footage is what's to come .
They never gave up on that and was working on it all the while .
It will have a different name but the same concept as Frame mentioned but not in those same words ( I'm not quoting him but he did mention the same concept and a lot of what's here " Dust 514 " ... will be in the next game ) but if you have eyes to see and a brain to comprehend , you can tell it's the same project .
It will be out sometime next year if not in 2018 if circumstances change to push back the date .
