I'm pretty sure I remember telling myself I wouldn't consider building a gaming PC in the event an Eve-based FPS made its way to PC following the death of Dust but in hindsight that is apparently not true.
Though I am not sold completely on building a gaming PC I do have a friend who said he will help me if needed with building a gaming PC at a decent price.
My question for the Dust514 community is what means of controls for playing a game on a PC would be best suited for me?
I am accepting that I am going to have to use a mouse because of the accuracy difference between aiming with a mouse and aiming with the toggles on a PS3 controller. The problem I am going to have is that I will not be able to use a keyboard to move around in a FPS.
Is there a device I can use in conjunction with a mouse so that I can play a FPS game on PC without having to use the keyboard?

How big are the buttons on the side of this mouse? They raise us big in Texas so my concern is that anytime I would attempt to press one particular button I will end up pressing multiple buttons.

I plan on using a mouse due to the increased accuracy it provides over using the toggles on a controller. I'm ultimately trying to find out if there is a controller-type device (not a keyboard) that I can use in conjunction with a mouse.

I will have a keyboard set to the side specifically for typing messages in chat channels but for actual gameplay I will not be able to use a keyboard.

I don't have a PS4. The only game I play is Dust so I had been holding off really looking at new gaming systems until I heard what was going on with Dust514.
