Finally the Ship is sinking. To all those that jumped off before it sunk into the abyss (like myself) good choice boys. Saved ourselves this immese disappointment of a great idea that could never be realized because of the terrible company making it.
But anyway I want to recognize those players that influenced myself and kept me coming back.
In closed beta while I was just a wee baby trying to find a squad I met a player named BadWolf Jody who kept me wanting to play this game each day.
Burgezz E.T.F the first Corp I called home that I met even more people Bane-843, RoboRhino, Raf, #homorangers4life. These guys gave me my first taste of the possibilities of a competitive atmosphere.
In open beta Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunterz gave me a home that was truly competitive and also sadly started making me an elitist prick. However I met some friends that I still play with today. I opened the Elite Dust Community channel from that elitism and eventually created 0.H almost entirely of mercs in the channel.
The Archon of whom was the real dreamer and instigator of creating an elite Corp. Lightning V the man who came up with the name 0uter.Heaven. The 32mercs that originally filled the day 1 0.H roster. 0.H wouldn't have been anything without their talented presence to build up our reputation.
0.H's Golden Era in my opinion was the moment we left Eon until the Rouge Wedding. Our most synergized team was housed in that era. To those mercenaries you truly were the best players in my Dust history no one was more loyal friendly and enjoyable to be around.
My board of directors who gave me strength intelligence and confidence to continue leading after every failure I had. 1st Lieutenant Tiberius, Reiselia, Rexero, Whataguyttu, Delta Blitzkrieg, Kaotik Krusader. Without these players 0.H wouldn't have lasted 2years in a dying game. Also we proved in an official Tournament that no team stood a chance against our 6 best winning every round handily. #pornsquad
Chicagocubs4Ever for saving 0.H and also giving us a rival to try to beat and aspire to be. The A team of AE whom like TP gave us another Rival to aspire to and would produce some of the most memorable fights in Dusts History.
The hyper competitive players that kept me striving to get better so next time we fought I would beat you. Regnyum, xProtoman, Alex ZX, Rexero, FunkmasterWhale, Djinn Maruader, Omni Zitro, 843-Bane, Kaughst, LordChaos QC, WhataguyTTU. These players kept me on my toes and even if they didn't know it kept me hungry and striving to hopefully be better than them.
Thanks Everyone for giving me nearly 2 years of enjoyment from this terrible game. It will be a long time before I find a game so incredible that it deserves the time and attention I gave to Dust.
CCP **** you for destroying such a great idea and I hope your company goes bankrupt from your pathetic ability to prioritize and properly treat your staff. |

A legendary ghost just past by this thread. I only had the opportunity to play with you for 2 matches and I only bought a UVT for the Corp meetings so we didn't talk much. However as the games greatest player and the most humble individual I met. The few times we played you helped me see that greatness doesn't have to exude Arrogance.
Even though all of my actions through the game may be interpreted as arrogant I tried never to let any of my members become pricks. Most of my members are highly regarded in the community and I'm glad they didn't let success corrupt them.
Few players were as talented as you and even fewer were stellar people. Thank you for stopping by James maybe our paths will cross in the future and I wish you the best. |

James-5955 wrote:Wow, I'm blown away by your kind words. What happened with PFBHz was a shame but that's history. There are a good amount of players I wish I'd played more with but Dusts group sizes never made that easy and going active/inactive so many times I really wasn't around as much as an officer should've been. That being said I feel a huge shout out is deserved to JLongshot. He didn't really play a whole lot but he spend a ridiculous amount of time getting us organized for corp battles, meetings and messing around with the EVE side of ROFL. When PFBHz broke apart he gave us a site for us to use to stay together as an active community.. where we all still talk. I honestly think he's done more for PFBHz than anyone by a large margin and deserves a shoutout for it.
I think that being humble is almost mandatory when being competitive. It's ok to be confident and take pride in your ability, but most people don't care to hear someone boast about themselves, hell I hate it. I think it just puts a target on that persons back, some people do it for attention but the reputation they get never amounts to much respect.
Stay humble and keep owning, we'll run into each other again for sure.
JL never liked me and his eve toon was the one to remove me from Corp and I was banned from PFB's site. He must have felt scorned when I started playing with my 0.H idea then straight disgusted with me when I tried to say goodbye to the bunnies and created 0.H. I never did get to finish telling you guys goodbye.
Forever burned in my memory is my final message "Hey Guys I've decided to create my own Corp and will be leaving PFB" I never got to finish the rest because within 25seconds of posting that I was removed. So hopefully you will be able to convey the rest. I was in the middle of typing "Thank you for letting a no name like myself join into this Pro Corp I hope you guys crush in PC and look forward to the potential fights ahead.
Unfourtantly we know the history of how everything went down but it still bothered me not being able to properly leave a home.
Enough of the sappy BS though a bright future for gaming is ahead. If you ever want to chill hmu AlextGreat on just about every game and on psn.
