1) Do you already own a PS4 2) How likely would you be to build a pc for this? 3) What are your main concerns with building a pc? 4) Do you still plan to follow development? 5) Do you still plan to hang out with your corp mates?
.
1) Yes I own a PS4, and I absolutely love it. I have a Black Ops 3 clan at the moment and I will absolutely try and turn them onto Dust 2.0 if I try it and the fevors of Planetary Conquest and all are what I experienced on the PS3 but beyond( eg. taking out installations, raiding, Planet Defense, Titan Boarding). My PSN is saphireblue-7
2) I plan on it :) Will certainly be looking and asking all of you PC bosses for builds and questions once the time comes and the first specs are released. Have half a grand saved at the moment, will also be needing one and a laptop for College coming this fall :). Also want to play Eve :)
3) My biggest concerns are just me ordering everything, and then dropping my motherboard or something lol. That and I'm not mechanically inclined at all, so I don't want everything to melt and all because my fan doesn't heat everything.
4) Yes, I will follow this game and community to the end of my gaming career. Absolutely will follow this. Will probably play Valkryie ( But not pay anything because my investment is in Dust). Plus I want a link to Eve.
5) Absolutely. Have many of my GAM and 0H homies in numerous chats, and I still need to catch up with a few more vets :) The people in Dust are hella chill, can't wait to kill y'all with my Nova Knives come Dust 2.0

This was a great Free-to-Play game, but if you thought the free ride would last you are delusional. The revenue model of EVE is what CCP knows, and what keeps them in business. If you can't afford anything more than a busted old last gen system, why the hell would you expect them to keep giving you a FREE game????
What many of the console "kids" don't understand is that CCP is a business, and they need a certain type of customer to provide revenues. Teenagers and man-children don't have the disposable income to support that need. Its sad, but its a reality. CCP is not in the business of providing free entertainment. They are a company with shareholders who expect to get paid.
Dust proved to them there is a market for this type of game. That means we get a second bite at the apple. Which is much better than most games that just die. I would love to play this game forever on the PS3 with support, but its not going to happen. I am just happy they are actually doing something, and even happier that they are moving it to a platform that has the resources and longevity to handle what I hope the next game is.
Not to mention that I am ecstatic to think about the crowd that will left behind because they can't or won't pay a subscription. Goodbye to some to the worst elements of this game. The quality of game and gamer will only get better with this kind of move. just because you got stomped on Dust does not mean a PC port is going to save you from us. Hell im building a PC right now even tho i hate PC just so i can stomp out a few more no Boob touching dorks.
