I just finished typing the mail I hoped to never send.
My chest literally hurts.
For console gamers, this is the worst thing that could happen. I have friends from dust in my phone and on my Facebook. Some of us have PCs but would rather game on console. When dust shuts down, there's no ps3-4 game for us to go to. They all suck.
A large portion of current playerbase was console gamers hoping for ps4 port. So natch, we port to pc....
I played this game for the future. Now I can't even play. Billions of isk. Every cal skin/bpo. A corp in the all time 300's, even though for a year it was just me. A host of wonderful channels. Some good ties.
The scars won't heal. They will show on dust2.0 for all to see. Console won't likely forget any time soon either. I was looking into Morpheus for valk on ps4. Now that ship has sailed. I can't give CCP any more money. I spent more than I should have here already.
I was there. Then CCP turned their back, and walked into the shadows.
