Yeah dust is going offline in may...
Ccp has stated that players who move to the next game will be given something but that's on the pc...
Over the past few years dedicated ps3 players have stayed loyal to dust. What happens for the players that can't afford a flashy computer to run the game.
I don't expect refunds...
But I think we all deserve answers.
A few years back you said no more updates yet you have updated. So what is the likely hood you won't shut down the server?
The likely hood of a port to ps4?
Will you do anything with dust in the next few months?
Will you reward the players that have stayed loyal and have spent a fortune playing the game??
Will you make respecs free till may?
If there is a post with questions and answers I'd like a link please

Considering they have just stated that Dust on PS3 will be shutting down, I think it's safe to say they're probably telling the truth.

Since I don't have exact answers to any of these questions, nor do I think CCP will be able to answer them in the immediate future I'll list my opinions instead:
1. It is likely, though not certain, that a minimum requirements computer will be able to run the new game without any serious issues (assuming good optimization) This could, if purchased during the winter holidays season in parts (smart purchases) only set people back the approximately the price of a PS4 + accessories. Unfortunately, there is little else to be done here for those that simply can't make this requirement.
2. The likelyhood of them possibly extending the period before server shutdown might be fairly high (though I'm not certain), I wouldn't hinge any bets on it though, CCP likely wants to move away from the costs of DUST as soon as possible in order to look towards the new game.
3. the likelyhood of a ps4 port as of now might as well be 0. For a multitude of reasons I'm not going to get into, as I'm sure its been said already on these forums.
4. Probably nothing significant.
5. They have said there will be some sort of loyal players awards, but as far as the money goes, who knows? I'm looking forward to hearing what they say on the matter in the coming months but I would be prepared for disappointment just in case.
6. This would be interesting and I fully support it because why the hell not. |
