How unlucky is patch 1.3 or should i say patch 13. So unlucky that they are shutting the game down with it.
All those false promises and statements made by ccp i am now officially SICK to my stomach that they went and did something like this.
I wonder how many poor souls bought so much Aurum over the years and now they are making it for PC and taking it off the console?
I would truly say thats the most BS i have ever heard.
You just dont do that to your players. A old PS3 game should be made new on the PS4 not the PC.
Thats like saying to all those ps3 player get fuc*** lost and thanks for your money were closing down shop as one of the biggest scams ever.

You guys dont understand, PC games are the worst for being hacked and modded.
If PC gamers can simply hack a game as big as gta 5 with ease, the new PC FPS is in for a very very horrible gameplay experience.
Be prepared to see the game down on a daily basis due to hackers and modders.
Be prepared to see players adding mods glitches bugs hacks and everything else that comes along with pc games.
Not possible on the console. At least specifically what i am talking about.
I am just going to be laughing.
The PC will hold their first person shooter back even more then the ps3 and thats sad.

This new fps they are bringing is going to be so fludded with mods and hacks your not even going to want to play.

You do realise that in order for all of that to happen, someone has to be able to modify server side values as most info for EVE is held server side. How exactly are they going to modify data that they cant access?
So what you dont think there are access points?
You really need to learn about server side injection.
Anything on the PC is super easily modded.
My job is IT for a living.
Do me a favor and go to a hacker forum and just read up on hacking pc's server based games.
Yall really have no clue do you.

Worst possible FPS games are on PC.
Server side values are easily injected. Its might only last for that session or lobby. But its so frigging easy a little 10 year old could do it.

I'm really not up to being a smart ass this early in the morning, so hopefully I'll keep myself in check. First, hacks in both pc/console have been discussed to death already in this thread alone. Go back and read the last 10 pages or so for logical discussion on that. I'm not saying one or the other, just it's already been discussed and replies have been made to your points already. Though to reply to it not being possible on console, I suggest searching youtube. There is a spanish video listing, describing, and giving instructions on how to replicate many player-created glitches such as infinite grenades and teleporting lavs. But that's impossible... Mostly, I'm replying to your previous comment. I'm asking honestly, why have people been stock-piling AUR to begin with? That's something that I just can't sort out in my head and it keeps me up at night. For me, I buy AU when I need it. If I need boosters, or I just don't have quite the SP needed for that proto whatever, then I'll buy up. I can even see stocking gear enough for the next few weeks of use, generally month-to-month. But beyond that seems silly and short-sited considering how extreme some updates have gone. I mean, buy 5k of a weapon knowing it may be nerfed to hell and back is just weird to me. Whatever the number. Too, it's on the PS3. How long do players expect this to last, realistically? You can quote 10 years, but really... what console market lasts for 10 years---that doesn't span generations of physical builds? It does kind of blow my mind the idea that so many people so blindly just "do" things without thinking it through, then complain that they were taken advantage of. I feel it's like placing a sign over a horse trough that reads "fresh water! $1" then someone complaining after spending $20, drinking it, then realizing it was for the horses. There's a certain level of self-awareness that one must have to survive in life. Then there are the Dust players.... 
Difference on pc and consoles is your ps3 / ps4 cant support injections to servers.
BUT YOUR PC CAN!
I have 2k aur in my account so i could care less about that.
But feel bad for all those that stock piled it.
Just do me a favor and look for yourself how easy injection values are to server side games on the PC.
PC is NO GOOD for FPS! Hackers and modders will be there and will make ccp's game a living nightmare. Just like GTA 5, Star wars and all other PC games of that nature. All of which use server side values. Such as money, health and everything along those lines. All of which have already easily been shown and hacked / modded.
But yeah dont listen to me you will find out for yourself soon enough..

Saying that putting an FPS on pc is going to ruin it or that it is a bad idea is silly, cos it isn't. look at games like counter strike which people mod to the high heavens yet its still one of the most popular FPS games available.
Are you kidding eve gets hacked and modded all the time i have witnessed it dozens of times myself. No offense.
FPS are one of the easiest games to be modded on PC. Thats why its a bad choice.
Sure modded sessions can be fun and stuff but where is the skill in that.
Just ruins the actual gameplay experience. Oh lets do a invincible mod, yeah very highly skill based if you cant die.
They are basically throwing everything that made Dust, Dust away.
There will be no competition, no skill or anything of that nature when its on PC, to many modders.
Sure it will be fun, but nothing close to the original dust 514.

Worst possible platform for a FPS. PCs don't passively spy on you like PS4 and Xbone unless you install Win10 or allow Win7 to update. Besides, EVE has been running for years so I'm sure the hackers can't be that unbearable.
Actually they are if you ever bothered to play eve.
I have seen dozens of hackers myself.
The sad thing is once its on the PC the makers of the game just dont care.
There only real action is when a modder/hacker stops the game from working which happens a lot and they need to take action to get the game working again.
Not even to mention Eve aint no FPS which by the way are the most easily modded PC games on the net.
Ahh you will see, the game will go down often and ccp will fix it of course but they wont be able to fix the mods that last not even a few hours. Those will be ruining the gameplay just as they do currently on EVE.
Everything to due with skill gets tossed out the high rise window.

Thats a pretty rough thing to do to a guy.
Feels like 10 years went by... I hate waiting, especially waiting for something that might not even be any more than a project.
I really thought CCP would have planned a little better, not leaving such a big gap in between games for players to slowly vanish into the abyss.
As long as this forum remains so will my hope. But thats pretty sad...

Honestly after all this time waiting bad things have happened!
I no longer feel the need to be apart of this community.
I thought CCP would have been a little more professional and made the in between time a little more realistic like a few months or a year maximum, but its now just really annoying and seems like nothing was planned at all.
What is the point of a next chapter if that chapter is out dated?
Really feels like you have left your community high and dry.
How long do we have to wait before something happens?
The fanfest teaser was exactly that a teaser at best.
So you like teasing and taunting us CCP?
Even if the game released tomorrow, I wouldn't be playing it.
You can only get so many fatal error before smashing your controller and then eventually your ps3.
