bruh, you failed hard on PS3 with almost no competition, but you guys think you can compete on PC? hilarious... and thats if the prototype doesnt crash and burn like Legion, fun times.- Uh, don't mean to tell you this, but PC is like their turf. They can handle competing on the PC, trust me. EVE Online is a testament to that.
Not FPS PC.
Been talking with a number of old friends who hack fulltime in PS2/Arma and they intend to give CCP an incredibly difficult time. I can't say I didn't warn everyone numerous times that this would happen.

Hacking FPS is way easier. None of the modifications need to even effect the client. Meanwhile hacking EVE doesn't do anything without falsifying packets and that's far easier to detect from CCP's end.
Simply put, a storm is coming and I highly doubt they are ready for it. They think PC is a better platform because its easier to develop for. What they are not taking into account is the additional security force they will have to hire on. Ultimately, this was a stupid, stupid, stupid decision.

Thats just my own musing by the way. We've not had that kind of detail given to us.
Being linked to TQ won't give them any advantage in that department. FPS hacks, when done right, are largely undetectable. An admin typically has to switch to the player cam during a match and make a judgment call. This is not something CCP will ever be able to do competently. They can't even handle tickets for far less complicated issues.
Then you insert the fact its supposedly F2P, and how long until the individual is right back at it? Maybe a minute.
To make this clear though, I don't see hacking being a supremely large issue during important battles or high level competition with established players. They have a lot more to risk. But you will see it rampantly destroying pubs and absolutely turning off new players at every turn. The game will be ruined in that sector and you can expect it to die very shortly afterwards.
If CCP wants to go the PC route then the game has to be Buy to Play similar to Guild Wars. Losing a monetary investment is the only deterrent that would matter. People who have already invested a certain amount of Aurum should get a copy for free, seeing as how CCP looks like it's aiming to screw them over with some sketchy "Reward system" anyway.

yeh i don't understand what he has just put....did he really write he has friends who "hack full time?"
they "hack full time",
what the hell man......................
Correct. What that means is they write the software and sell it to people like you and I. That is their sole occupation. When they do play games, it is with the software they have written.

Can you not support the battleservers with ads? Why leave us in the dark for so long... Can you sell the game to a more competent company? Had a similar problem with Spacetime Games. They abandoned us. Why are you abandoning us? Us console gamers want an fps like yours. Why cant we have it? WHY WILL YOU NOT LISTEN TO US? We begged for answers. Updates! Anything. Now you leave us? I just want to mow people down with my hmg now that is going away. At least let us know if we will be able to get a port to ps4 in the next 1-5 years...
They are already prepared to cut you loose. It sucks to say it but your outrage is pretty much irrelevant to them.
You will not get a real response.
