First name that comes to mind is john ripper( is that correct?) I had to go 1v1 against him in my first several PC's. I could get him to all zeros but I would still be dead first.

Lol. I didn't know he even had a YouTube back then when that happened.
It was on the vertical map where dropships place links on top of the objective, where orbital strikes can't hit the area. I spawned up top and saw him coming from left side and killed him.

Akrem TROAKAT. He's french, and indeed, he's the best slayer for me too. (for info he was a competitive player in BF3)
He plays since long time, but he started to really use this character (Akrem) in the beginning of 2014.
Currently on the ps4 on PlanetSide 2 and some others games. Sometimes he come back on DUST, and it's not cool for the enemy team in general.

I remember the good ole' days when there was a lot of good players, and we basically just went at it all day. Not it's just a bunch of scrubs being scrubs, because there's no fun in finding a playstyle that suits you when FOTM's everywhere are a thing.

TTK was much higher back then, which made 1v1s far more interesting. It actually felt like you were walking around in a heavily armored suit.

Lol ^^^^ well , I mention them because they have been the only one's I can honestly say its a pure ( one on one ) without the lag spikes or rubberbanding in between each bullet exchange in a fire fight . their solo opt tactic's are good . some of the other names ive seen on here so far are "eh , they are alright" . can't give any credit to salty boys that rage quit after 5 deaths or miraculously lag out & rubberband from a firing squad with 40 armor left or Team kill you at the very end of a FW match because they are still butthurt from the r@pe of a PC/PUB match lol

He had such a reputation among players at the time. I recall him being completely out of ammo, and charging at 2 guys, they both ran the other way even though he wasn't shooting.
(Remember: this was before myo's in the closed beta, and he ran assault exclusively.)
