Corp building is a tough thing in DUST, these days. Building a PC team from the ground up can also be tough. It's a task i'm doing for the second time. We dropped PC and many Ninjas left dust right before the PC 2.0 launch. When we returned, and decided to rebuild, we chose to do it the 2.0 way. I want to impart some of or lessons and advice to you. First of all, don't be intimidated. You WILL lose fights. Clone Packs give you the ability to send attacks consistently, thus giving you many oppronunities to mold your team. It takes many losses to start winning. Do not let losses affecr your morale. Each one should be used as an opprotunity to learn and grow. Have an after action meeting. Ask everyone to give their opinions. What would have helped make THEIR battle go better. Each member of your team is important. Listen to them.
Attack everyone! You may be daunted by the idea of attacking corps like SoG, Dead man's game or random gunz; din't be. Each of these corps play differently. There are lessons to be learned, here. Watch how each team deploys their forces, and take note of what gives you the most trouble. Another thing to consider is that half of the corps holding districts right now are barely able to field more than 5 of their own. This works to your advantage. Fighting a ringer team will mean YOU have the upper hand in organization.
If you can't hang with their gungame, learn to camp. Some corps just slay, others employ real strategy. You can get slaughtered in clones and still win by MCC. Learn to fluidly move your forces into weaker areas of the enemy defenses. Have a guy facilitating this through uplinks, which brings me to the next point....
UPLINKS, UPLINKS, UPLINKS! In PC a weak uplink game makes a weak team. Most of your team should run them, designate a scout to hunt them and if given the choice between that uplink or the red dot, take out the uplink first.
Talk to CEOs If you attack a corp, check their info, mail their ceo, or if indicated, the person running their PC side. You may be surprised how agreeable we are. Some CEOs will offer to bring in their new guys, do handicap matches, or even apex/adv matches. Also, if you cant field a full team, alot of corps will help you field. If you plan to PC, getting to know these people helps tremendously. Some CEOs will even offer to bring your FC into their battles in order to help them learn to do it better. I have brought along full squads from new corps to help them learn. It's all in who you talk to.
Deployment is key! The first minute of a match is crucial. Use your warbarge time to get the plan out. The typical is: scouts run in, drop links. Dropship at (mcc) carries a squad to a point, everyone else spawns on links. Tanks get dropped after dropships deploy. There are other variatons. Practice ypur deployments!
Most importantly, KEEP AT IT! Use that CP as it comes in. You can drop a clone pack every other day with around 16 guys trying. Send them often, fight even if you dont have your own 16. People WILL ring. Dont pull them from squad finder. Make friends, just keep fighting. Feel free to hit a Naughty Ninjas district. I'll work with you if you need it. Put in the effort, and others will, too.

Thank you. I just want to see the little guys succeed. Our community is much smaller now, and the journey towards PC can be very intimidating for new corps and players. Alot of guys mistakely see older corps as "big" or "established" and this just isn't the case. Getting your butt handed to you is a huge part of the early PC days. Learning the teams and how to fight them is the first place to start. This knowledge will see corps winning more, as they will find teams in their level, and begin performing better against them. As you fight on certain maps more often, less preperation will be needed, as your members will start knowing what to do from the start.

Attack SN and every member of your corp will be blacklisted, potential talent will be poached, and you won't ever hold a district more then a day. We don't have time to battle and develop new corps. We are here for the big fish. Attacking SN is an act of aggression and examples will be made. Molden Heath is the place were your actions have consequences in Dust 514. Choose your actions wisely and always prepare for the re[action. A perfect example of why this thread was created. Fortunately, the vast majority of PC corps do not share this view. Many of us see the need for new blood as the current pool of competition has become slim and stale. Corps with the above view have ALWAYS fizzled out after a short period, and though I admire what Second Nature has set out to do, once the big fish are gone, they will almost assuredly break up and fight each other. It's just the mentality here. It has happened with every such corp in the past. These corps are best left alone to run their course, as their sight is always set to the current "blue donut" or domunant corp/alliance.
