CPM is not at fault. But, CCPs lack of communication openly is disgusting, and the CPM openly accepting the NDA in this way is just seen as weak. Regardless of what is doing it has 0 need for the lack of comms. Its a public relations decision and IMHO a bad one. Im a paying customer and right now no one seems to be there to even answer questions.
I think what gets most of us is they treat this info like they are the NSA and we are wikileaks. Hell we are your customers let us in on the product. With most new games we are aware of the direction of the dev team a year away from release. PS3 came out in 06, this hardware has been around since 04, games going on 4 years. We are so deep into the life cycle of the product that who the hell cares??
And damn, lets not forget how many times this game has been destroyed by updates, hotfixes, nerfs, buffs etc that did not recieve community SCRUTINY. Where if we had been included, could have been avoided.
Ultimately as with real politics we dont TRUST the reps. Wy? Past CPMs.... The current 'myo meta' that they apparently approved. And IMO I dont believe there is a single CPM rep that can adequately understand and articulate the subtle in and outs of crafting a great shooter. Why? Because none of the current lot could perform in game. Sure sure I know, we got a logi, she should get it. Darth was a good pilot. But when your talking pure on the ground gungame, tactical cover shooter, they all fall short. Yes I know some do well in squads when they protostomp in pubs. But solo, gungame in the trenches, understands it, and can articulate that understanding ? Wheres that CPM?
Couple all that with being responsible for conveying the problem, purpose, and direction of this SHOOTER to a dev team that suffers many of the same flaws in their personal SHOOTER IQ and we have the distrust, anger, and cynicism you cant fathom.
Lastly let me be clear,I have absolutely nothing personal toward the dev or CPM. Just much love for DUST.

Again, CPM have said again and again that they constantly harass CCP to be more vocal or at least let them be more vocal. No dice.
I feel and believe that. The disgusting part is aimed at whomever in CCP makes the decision, not those who have agreed to follow it.

I just get irritated really quickly when people start attacking the CPM because they're displeased with the situation and take it out on the people who are not responsible, simple forced to go along with it.
Im a principle guy. We dont get elected. By now id have bucked that NDA and lost my position. But then they dont allow felons to be on the CPM.
