I would agree with you except the core gameplay appears to be based on powerpoint. Please elaborate on what you mean. I enjoy the actual concepts of DUST. Unfortunately, they're unplayable because even on a brand new PS3 bought specifically for the task, with an SSD installed in the desperate hope of better performance, the game is still incredibly laggy.
More or less how I feel.
The concepts are good but even how they are presented in Dust 514 makes little sense... I mean CCP has created a race of super soldiers less capable than human soldiers and backed it with with lore to justify limited gameplay features despite almost 6 years of development.
The game itself is slowly becoming unplayable for me and yet I'm masochistic enough to still believe Rattati and the CPM aren't full of ****.
