So, I spent a little time chatting it up with Vice. I gotta say, I like what this guy has to say. I have a bit of a different opinion of SoG as a whole because of it. Vice is a pretty chill guy. He also expresses alot of concern for the PC community. Like myself and many others, he wants to see variety and new blood on the starmap, and is actually quite serious about offloading districts to other corps looking for a goid foothold. At the same time, and I agree with his view here, he doesn't want to just throw those districts away. He is looking to give them to corps who can field players and are serious about their growth. Vice mentioned to me that no one had actually contacted him about his proposal to give districts to other corps, which I figured was due to reluctance or skeptisism about "the big corp" actually being real with people. The alliance ties, and the ties to PoK (everyone know Matias is not to be trusted) brings on alot of stigma.
I'm posting to let everyone know that SoG is for real about this, and they want to see a better PC community as well.
Don't get me wrong, I'll be fighting SoG, just like I'll be fighting everyone else, friends and enemies alike. I have friends in almost every PC corp out there. Even with our longstanding rivalry with Warravens, I have friends in that corp that I gladly squad with, or offer PC slots to when available. I hate using ringers, but on nights like tonight, where my half my PC guys are MIA, I do what I have to do. But I'm gonna hit you all. I expect the same in return. See you on the field o7

I've seen plenty of corps STOP flipping districts and start giving them away. Once you hit the top, and people stop hitting you, things get pretty boring. It's only then that you realize that being on top isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's a cycle that has repeated itself time and again. Do I expect them to leave me alone because they gave me a district? No. I expect them to hit me. They want fights, too, after all. If I were to give a corp a district, I would hit them, too. After all, I want the fights, and I gave it so they could pc. What use is giving it to them if you don't test them out? Giving a corp a district is an investment in that corp's future. Is Vice's intention to hit me later? It **** well better be. I would be disappointed if he didn't. "Take this district, if you can keep it for 3 weeks, you are welcome to another." Will I take him up on the next one? No. Our next district will come because we fought for it. We aren't hungry for districts, we just want enough to get PC rolling for us. 2 does just that. We have enough to keep us in fights until we are ready to flip someone. So by all means, come, put us to the test. Catch us on a good night, we'll fight with all we have with 16 ninjas. Catch us on an off night, we'll bring all we got and some friends, but be sure, we will fight anyone, win or lose.

My only concern is variety on the starmap. D1ck made an effort to make that happen, and I'm just saying Vice seems to want it, as well. I have different opinions than many leaders and corperations in molden heath, always have. I don't think there have been any doubt about that. This is how I see the situation: Everyone says SoG holds too many districts. SoG gives away districts. SoG holds less districts. Thats pretty ****ing simple.

Hate to say it, but Cyber just said something smart (world ending event). Grab the districts while you can. And as for "meta", Cuse, people aren't attacking them. DMG was the only corp doing it, and they can't anymore. So I can't see fear of impending doom as a motive for Vice's action. PC is more stale than ever. Many of us want to see that change. Now, I mention in the first post that Matias wasn't to be trusted, but this thread isn not about PoK or Tso's. I am well aware of their exploiting/glitching, as is everyone in the community. I dont expect SoG to control it, just as I have no control over the actions of my allies. They are not his corp.

The only glitching mentioned was PoK. I only mentoned Tso when I said this thread was not about pok or tso. But since you are so defensive about Tso, I should point out that currently, it's PoK that brings all the hate down on Tso, not SoG. During the course if my time in PC, after Niyan, Tso became nothing more than an afterthought. People didn't talk about Tsi, unless they were one of the many irrationally obsessive hatemongers this game is famous for attracting. But those guys tend to get ignored because they make so sense, anyways. Carebearing? There is a difference between carebearing and the need to kickstart a new cycle. Cuse mentioned in another thread about the noobs in pc... Well, a huge chunk of the vets are gone. A vacuum has been created, and a new generation needs to fill it. Some of these noobs...well, lets just say a few of these corps have potential, but alot of people just haven't taken notice, yet. Remember that every corp in pc started somewhere. Even Cap fell on their faces a few times. 9 months ago, people werent giving SoG a second thought. Project of killers was just a middle school bully called X-treme stars. And Tso didn't have a corp in PC that could field a full team. It's always a slow move, but the field is changing.

Gotta say....latino corps are fighting each other. Latino Killers flipped Azteca's district while their leadership was on vacation. 2 Days laters, a Latino corp i have not seen took the same corp from Latino Killers. Los Berserk (Cp corp) had also declared war (lol) on azteca. I have seen a few other cases of latino corps fighting each other. I don't attack corps because ethnicity, but I have been fighting alot of Latino corps. Why? Time zonrs. 90% of timers in our corp primetime are Latino. Some of them I like, some of them I don't. It's a case by case thing. Pendijitos took an attempted CP flip (that got ccp'ed) personally. It wasn't. Now they send teams of 15 ringers after us (please, do that again). Only reason we reupped was because they werent fielding more than 6 of their guys and my corp was looking to get out of CP attacks and into districts.
