I believe may is after march... Lol how ironic, him speaking of not being able to read and do math properly earlier. [quote=BARAGAMOS]Again kid can you read and understand the difference between 12 million and 6 million versus 80 million and 160 million. Read the post slowly and it becomes easier. A player at with all cores and proto vs a player without these is a slaughter. ^This is mostly relevant to pubs, if not exclusively.
I'm not talking solely about betas vets here. PC has always been a playhouse for the older players, meaning at the time it was those 12mil SP guys vs other 12mil SP guys, if you didn't have enough SP and/or actual skill to compensate for SP at the time you were stomped out of PC sent back to pubs. Fighting noob corps has always been hated and sometimes prevented by older corps. The SP gap problem that you're on about was/is only a "problem" in pubs. There's a reason why the better corps of PC/vets are still remembered and not those that chose to stick to lolpubs. The PC corps/CEOs/FCs knew that they should field players maxed out in whatever role they were being fielded for because that's what PC was - maxed vs maxed where SP would be irrelevant in that sense and actual skill made the difference, now many more are able to run maxed roles, and many more can get there much faster but they still lack a lot of knowledge older players have.
PC is the endgame; the best vs the best, not pubs (lol leaderboards hurrdurr kill starter fits 16 hours a day). All of the greatest corps to have held down Molden Heath have a prolific lineage of vets in their corp. The SP gap may have become less relevant but being a vet is still of significant value. If it were otherwise, many new corps would have rocked the older corps out of MH a long time ago.
It is stupid to disparage the greater corps/players of the past. I'm not saying that no newer player is better than any older player, a lot probably are, but very few would be better than the best that are continuously renowned.
I apologize, I'm not very coherent today. |
