That only tells me if the service is working. It doesn't tell me how well it's working.
The PlayStation Network has been pretty unstable for a long time now especially during the winter break and this instability has been occurring even though PSN Status says it's "OK".

Yes, it is CCP's job to make the connection stable on their end, but you can't maintain a stable connection if the PSN service itself is going Kylo Ren on your ass.
