It is not just how much money you have spent, though that is a huge factor, there are other factors as well as shown in the guide I posted above.

I'll admit it. I'm level 11 because I've spent 700 bucks on this game because I love it with all its quirks and bugs and unfair matches.
This game rewards those who spends money on it yes, but it doesn't just leave the pure F2P players in the dust.
