I just easily killed a pair of incubus with my calmando swarmer, perhaps lag gave me an unfair advantage and was making me teleport and screwing with the hit detection,

If the person is shooting where you were instead of where you're at or going then it's probably lag in your favor, unless that person is me then there's a good possibility it's just bad gun game.
Most of what I see around here is just a bag of dicks in need of some kicks.

Well Incubus don't generally fight ground units too well, so did they immediately fly away as you started shooting them? If they didn't they were as good as dead anyways.
If any of my posts seem severely negative, it's probably because they are.

Because it is frustrating to fight people that teleport around and don't take damage, I am certain that the majority are not deliberately

Lag is kindve a debuff trust me I know I have bad WiFi connection I get up early just to play without lag when lagging normal you can't get up anywhere without falling off due to lag there's lag on damage and on reload(its funny when I kill someone as they kill me) sometimes I can't even spawn I take lag damage I have to stand over someones body to revive them can't do that some times lag is useful though |

this. if someone is CONTINUALLY firing 3-5 meters to your left or right whenever you encounter them, then you're probably nailing someone 100-300 Ms behind you. The lag invulnerability comes when you're not hit period because your connection is sporadic, and spotty enough that you seem to teleport.
You have a mild ping advantage when they are always shooting close to you and occasionally knocking on your health bar.
Lag invulnerability comes when no one can hit you no matter what they do.
Imagine a gigantic, shiny bug zapper.
