I'm gettting really sick of this "bug". It doesn't happen often but often enough in the middle of really good matches to warrant some sort of explanation. For me running BPO fits, I don't lose anything but the SP and WP I acquired during the match, but I'm sure there are others who have lost expensive fits. Why does it keep happening? When I signed back in, of course the match ended and I had to go through the signon to the EvE servers again. Why? Surely something can be done so we don't lose everything in the match?!!!
And why do we get signed out in the first place?? I checked to see if there was an updated version of the firmware for the PS3, no there isn't. That's the usual reason you can't sign in. So it was totally random. That makes it totally unacceptable. I shouldn't be signed out for NO GOOD REASON AT ALL.
Fix this, CCP. |

A quick update on this. I didn't lose everything, apparently. Daily Missions shows I had some kills and accumulated WP and since it was my first match since the server DT, whatever I had was credited to me when I DCd. Thanks at least for that CCP. Of course, the opportunity for an instant boost was gone, and the annoyance of being DCd from a good match was still there, but at least I didn't lose everything... |

This is a Playstation side error, there isn't anything CCP can do about it.
Since the PS4 has came out, online service for the PS3 has suffered. Since the PS4 online is a service that people pay for, it gets priority now over the PS3. It happens to everyone.

Then that's another good reason to port, either to the PS4 or even better, PC. People will have a better player experience on either platform, but PC takes it away from the clutches of the PSN. |

As inferior as CCP's capabilities are with Dust 514, a port would end the game. They touch anything small on here and we have 30 new bugs pop up, can you imagine what would happen with a port?

Agreed that CCP is next to hopeless with Dust. However a port would require a significant reassignment of resources. The current pitiful attention given to Dust by CCP would have to be ramped up and so I believe a port would be more successful than leaving it where it is. |
