Yes, but if you do as I do and run the suit as a BPO with no custom mods, it's not that much better. I do put MLT BPO shield extenders on some of my BPO suits, but that's the only mods I make.

That's the problem with running MLT BPOs. You can't stand up to the proto stompers. I usually leave the match if I encounter proto stomping, or organised squads when my team is a bunch of twits. I see no point in participating as the cannon fodder in a stomp, I'm not going to boost their WP because my team is useless. The usual reason I leave a match is I'm sick of the uselessness of my own team. I usually solo, so this is my only way of exercising choice over teammates.

I ran around in either a Minmatar Frontline with a Militia Combat Rifle or a Gallente Frontline with a Militia Rail Rifle if I needed the range. Overall, it went fairly well. Proto was difficult to fight against, but I managed to pull over 40 kills from the three matches combined, so I am not displeased. I shall definitely play more next Friday. I was thinking about the more established corps that have most of PC on lock down... obviously.... I've done it once and it was horribe, and I knew it was going to be when I asked if anyone had a speed scout for links and they we're all "wuh?". At first I took it seriously, spawned in my proto minlogi with my -40% and -20% time links but it quickly turned in to a clusterfuck and switched to my shaman with a standard AScR after I threw out my uplinks and never switched back I of all people ended up being the one with the most kills and not only that I was the only one other than the dude sniping that didn't go negative; though to be fair just barely didn't go negative. Most of what I see around here is just a bag of dicks in need of some kicks. Dust really needs its high sec.
