I was there when the dragonfly and toxin were all you needed to drop 70 kills a match, when you had three grenades stronger than the cores of today. I was there when ttk was half what it is now and a new player stood a chance if he shot a proto in the back. I was there when there were real tanks and real tankers to cry about not these tin cans making scrubs whine.
I was there when the game was linked to eve. I was there when vu threatened to wipe molon helping defend and mass attack. I was there when tso's was wiped by DNS and when we absorbed that which we didn't fight for. I was there the battle GAM blew up after losing their last district again screaming about spies and 501 left. I was there when old ae left the game, when kujo gave his going away speech to alliance. Yes I was there.
I was there when the keq ringer team was wiping tso's. I was there as my allies rolled over burnt out and afraid to fight. I was there screaming at hawkin that they needed to fight win or lose. I was there winning and losing fights with my xt's from the sky when half of alliance wouldn't fight to save their own districts. I was there when hawkin left and we inherited tso's dust side. I was there more than any other time.
I was there when fake AE and fa stomped out the taco, for the last fight vs fake OH. I was there in nearly every battle, but as actively as I participated I was really only half there. The days of true competition and good fights and 5 caps driving me ever harder long gone.
And so I was there to welcome the taco into tso's, bringing it salvation after years of oppression. I was there to house my enemy. Though some I regret bringing here others have shown great honor.
I have nearly always been here, never turning on my home or my allies always playing with my true friends and helping my allies. I have been here for the height of alliance and the very bottom. I have been insulted by my enemies for my honor and praised by the vets and the small guys I have helped.
I was there for much, much more than that. But those are the events I shared with my friends in real life and what sticks with me the most.
I was there to witness nearly everything posted here, though not always involved till just before uprising. I was there though.
