I decided to get into player trading in order to get my hands on some skins and bpo items that I wanted. I was a bit hesitant about it due to all of the posts about scammers, however my experience with player trading has so far been very enjoyable and scam free.
The purpose of getting into trading was two fold: get something for the stockpile of ISK that's been laying around for ages totally useless and get some stuff I want. And now I get to know what it's like again to be in the 'less than 100,000,000ISK club' for the first time since the end of Chromosome 
I'm thinking I may keep buying up BPO items until I get down to 0 just to feel that panic again.  I broke out of the proto habit ages ago so it won't be quite as bad for me as it is for some of the proto-addict people out there, but we'll see how it goes

I already have plans for that ISK. I've been giving out millions for free to random people who have trouble in matches for years now. However.... What do you normally run in an average match?

ISK is easy to come by, in all of my time playing Dust I've never once had an ISK problem. And all I still really want are a handful of MLT BPOs (I have a thread listing what I need if you're selling any of them or can find them for me ) so I should be able to suffice

I could have. I earned my way up without any PC and am proud of that fact since most of the ISK rich people got rich through PC clone pack farming and running constant PC.
I find myself almost never running anything other than APEX suits with MLT BPO's though, occasionally switching to ADV gear for laughs. I only use proto for a laugh or when I really need to so it's not an issue at all for me to be broke for a bit.

I basically always come in near the top of the majority of my matches so the payout from pubs keeps me at a positive income.
