So which corporation would pay for you for your clones & loadouts for no gain on their behalf? Carthum Conglomerate? Expert Distribution? Aliastra? Tribal Liberation Force? Interbus? (corps)
edit: TrueAd is on to something, would need further developing.
and just by-the-by, I wouldn't support a new game mode just because I don't think that's what needs fixing.

Personally I don't think blood-sport is a big enough presence in the Eve universe to excuse it.

REALLY?!!!
You keep looking at mechanics as a definition of what is in the Eve Universe. I'm looking at the actual lore and setting and treat mechanics that don't line up with that as a mistake/problem to be removed, not lore authority.
