I felt bad this one match. There was this one player who was a new player. And I saw him try his very best to win. He pushed and pushed and pushed. Never did he leave the match, even after the game was 9vs5. And my greedy team and I were hungry for kills. But this one part, I saw him try to hack a cru. I was first at the scene and many were coming to kill him. I let him hack. The human part of me in the back of my head softened my heart. I let him live and let him kill me. It's just a game and we can't see them but behind his Caldari mask, I knew he felt joy in getting a kill, even though he was later immediately killed afterward. It was just something that opened my eyes even more. Why are we so greedy? Why can't we give the new players a chance? Why can't CCP fix matchmaking??? And for the mean time, why can't us players just run cheap gear and let our selves die for those who actually try to have fun in a game so corrupt? I let my self die again to him the next time I saw him. It felt good. Satisfying. It felt right. Why? Just why? So next time you see a new player, whose having a bad match, going 3/20, let him hack that objective you were gonna stop him from hacking. And let him kill you. Soften your heart, and look at the greedy monster you are. Now think about the face that merc that just killed you had, happy, knowing he managed to kill you after he's been repeatedly killed and killed. Let him enjoy the game with a little more ease. Then I straight up ran basic and still do (even though I recently posted I would start officer and pro again. I'm still used to only running basic now. It's now just a mental thing. Isk) What can I say? People change. No one is perfect. I was once the stomper, (and I still am, except I rarely run officer, pro, hell even advanced. I run basic 80% of the time now), but it's goten to the point that I can't even play in basic some matches. And it starts to get bring killing and killing over and over again. Now, don't get me too wrong either. I did say about that it just so happened that the human part of me do this. I am still monster and will still stomp. This post was not to make me change my ideology from stomper to helper. Nothing will STAHP me... Except lag and out numbered encounters or better skilled players duh. I'm not the best, but I am good. That's not a "little while" using basic. Also, I totally FW stomp with EB. 16 man Queue-Sync with EVE support, all proto. Stand up you Minmaggots. Fight back and they won't be "stomps" I took 50m from Corp wallet (Corp wasn't gonna use it. It was more but I handed out 1m to te active players) I then wine like 30m from te xmas raids. In total, I actually made around 100m. Part of isk was also from selling gear and unused assets. But yeah. Of you wanna make 100m, just run basic gear for about 2-3 months.
