DUST Search - The arguement defending CCP's silence

Accept that they are being silent, accept that we are in the dark until they choose to tell us otherwise and let them come out of the cave you pushed them into. It's like pouring water over a cat for 2 straight years and then expecting the cat to be buddy buddy with you. Grow the hell up and understand that A) CCP wants to work on 1.3 or maybe a port (which you all need to quit bitching about) and B) It's very hard to work hard if you know the work you put in isn't going to be appreciated.

Honestly guys, lay off.

Honestly guys, lay off. I'm new so I have a somewhat fresh view of this. We whinge and whine because we don't hear anything from CCP about the next version and/or port of the game. This is important because it's the future of the game. It's not as if you can just keep playing it forever - it's an MMO, so it needs other players and servers. How do we know that CCP is working on it? They don't tell us anything, so it's not really something you can assume. I don't see any evidence at all that they're working on anything much but carrots to dangle, to keep us interested a while longer. CCP isn't silent with the EvE Online community, and they get criticism the likes I've never seen here. I'm sure that if they wanted to say something, being criticised would be the last thing to stop them. My view on CCP's silence is simple. I look at the reasons they might be silent, especially in the face of the fact there are people leaving exactly because of that silence. The only one that makes sense is they can't say anything positive about the future of Dust and they know they can't say something negative, so they say nothing at all.... Dust is on life support folks, get used to it and find something else to do when the day comes that it's gone. Me? I'll probably go back to EvE.
