You know... I have Insomnia... I could totally take the initiative, the thing is finding scrubs to field a team... The other problem is I have about 30 PC battles as for experience... So taking the initiative, I wouldn't technically be qualified but I suppose practice makes perfect...

Why do you think that it matters that a district has 400 clones vs 150 clones? If you're attacking...150 clones is plenty depending on the map.

i dont think any of the big corps are going to take initiative because they all farming aswell. to take down and top corp its not about taking all the districts. The important thing is to be able to consistently beat SoG's A team, and if that happens then they will quit long before they lose all of there districts.

Love me or hate me, I love this game.
Sure, DUST has it's problems; It's buggy, laggy, and chock full of balance issues.
I try not to dwell on issues beyond player control, so there are two issues that I talk about constantly;
State of the General Community
State of the PC community.

I am intetested to hear the PC community's thoughts on the PC community, and the current state of PC.
Here is mine:

During my 4 month hiatus from DUST, we entered a new era in PC.
OH, TOP, NF, Cap, TLH, PE/OP, RG, all gone (some are coming back).
SOG and POK owned way too much.
Very few corps were holding Districts.
I saw a situation that I didn't like very much.
Last District and CBM were gone, as well as the community members involved.
With a lack of variety in district ownership, and most corps acting as a clone pack raiders, PC is a messed up state.
I'm really wishing CCP had stuck to their talk about corp district ownership being limited.
I would love to see excess land given to corps looking to get involved.
They ARE out there, guys.
There is a whole new generation of new corps and new players looking to break onto the scene.
Alot of them are raiding, unsure about obtaining a district because the corps they are forced to raid are well beyond their level.
It takes time, practice, and opprotunity to get a team running like a well oiled machine.
Even corps like (gasp) Ice-9, who are instant removal targets, should be allowed to remain on the map and thrive.
It's not a matter of the "get good, Scrub" mentality, it's about the flavor and variety in the PC community, varied levels of competition, and more interesting fights.

All that said, Ninjas will be snagging up a district or 2 real soon.
There are 2 things I can say you can expect from us;
We will act in the spirit of Last District. We have no interest in knocking anyone out.
We will always be willing to help new teams get on their feet.
We do this for fun, not to be the best.
We will fight apex/adv rules with raiding corps looking to train their teams without killing their wallets, even going so far to bring our newer players in. Just contact one if our directors beforehand.
We want to fight everyone. Friends, rivals, enemies, strangers.
Hell, we make it a point to fight each other on a daily basis.

So, give me your thoughts. I really want to know what you guys think.

i forgot to mention that you actually have to have good players put in the battle otherwise you will just waste time and get stomped.

The biggest problem with US corps right now is that alot of them have split off to tiny corps lloking to "make it work" in an evironment where it just isn't going to. The talent needs to be pooled a bit more.
Alot of guys are of the mind "ill just ring" but who are you going to ring for?
Random Gunz don't need ringers. EB doesn't need ringers.
Naughty Ninjas is consistently fielding 14+, but we haven't went for a district yet.
Cap has their select guys they use, many in the aforementioned corps.
Second Nature is coming up, but I'm betting they don't need the ringers, either.
It doesn't help that alot of our corps are at one another because of stupidity, either.
Ice 9 gets a district, everyone wants to flip it right away, the bad thing is, Ice 9 is a corp that could put a district to use....if they werent trying to sell them when they get one.
I've been enjoying clone packs for getting our **** together.
I don't want to throw my corp into the fire knowing that POK will try to flip us the moment we get a district, but the bottom line is, we have to jump into that fire eventually.
So do these other CP corps.
