so I found a guy with around 700hp, 500 of that was in armour, ion pistol headshot took him out in one.
so I'm working on prof 5 and am trolling around with 5 complex damage mods and creodron ion pistol to try and find someone with an insane amount of HP just to see how much this can do
I understand I can go higher with Kubo's ion pistol but I would end up wasting loads of them
so could it do 1000hp damage?

just watched the video again his exact stats were this

I can't wait to rain hell on these nubs, working on a video which is 100% ion pistol headshots, I'm not going to challenge Kubo but I'm definitely one of the most proficient with the ion pistol, I just want to see how far I can push it!

The krins doesn't have a stack penalty so you will output more damage then the 2 extra complex damage mods. Give it a try. Plus you'll get more fitting space as well.
thanks man, see I knew that about the Krins but when you apply the 5 damage mods you get 1.47x at the bottom, when you put the Krins on you get less, so is it not compensating for the stacking penalty?
so i suppose even if the sidearm damage modifier statistic is lower, it should technically yield higher damage?
thanks for the advice I'm using base HP so it would be nice to use BPO in 2 slots and make it cheaper!
running kin cat and 2 armour reps in the lows as I'm going for charge shots so need to run away quickly

the numbers don't lie, I'm looking at a clip on my editing software and I headshotted someone from 27m with the ion pistol.

thank you, i didn't think so but it was confusing me so thanks for explaining it.
time to modify my fitting, i guess it will make me even more of a tryhard, but hey it's an experiment....for science...
honestly after playing dust from closed beta it's time to have fun in a different way.

no idea. didn't have a lot of time to test today, I'll get random kills but the best way for me to get accurate HP damage info would be to find a sniper with a lot of health and see what it does.
