Well meh. But if people want to afk in the MCC then turn the MCC against them. Simply put when someone is in the MCC they have a timer like the redline, they die and are forced to the spawn screen. OR Being inside MCC disables sheild regen and armour repair and you start constantly losing HP while inside it. Bam then you die and are kicked for being afk.
And on the subject of battle salvage, why can't we salvage at least one item from every kill we make? Say I kill a logistics. He had 4 equipment slots all filled. Why can't I salvage one of those items? Say you kill a commando/sentinel,why shouldn't you have a chance to salvage their weapons?
Kill a scout, salvage some of his modules or his weapon or the suit itself.
It would make much more sense than salvaging a random piece of aur gear like say a neo scout 1. But there wasn't a single amarr scout in the whole match. It helps newbros make money and or stock up on gear they want to use later in their careers
Stopping people from camping in the redline isn't that hard either. Simply disable their suits regen/repair.
Stopping people from redlining the enemy team isn't hard either 60% of them team holding the point say in Dom must be within a 50m range of the objective or it returns to neutral.
Ha!You can't kill me! I'm already dead!

Your first suggestion makes no scientific sense as the MCC is meant to transport mercenaries, so why would it be toxic to them?
Your second suggestion I like, because it makes sense.
I like your last two suggestions as well.

As for breaking redline games, cloaked sky spawns would immediately remedy that. The more points you lose, the more options you have for sky spawns. This makes the game much more chaotic and frantic, and provides safe spawns using all pre existing assets. There are other spawn ideas that could help too, but that's just the most obvious and simple to add one.
Buuuuut, people need to feel 1337 in their double full proto squads running in and out of the enemy redline all game. Uplinks simply don't work at that point. Providing a challenge will always be more fun than handing people wins like they are now.
If any of my posts seem severely negative, it's probably because they are.

I run starter fits all day and doesn't matter what kind of suit you run, proto or militia, my militia locus grenade will find you, and kill you. Unless you are a sentinel of course.

Here's a different take on the first one. Concord or whoever it is assigning contracts does not like cowardice, simply put it,they have built painfeilds into the MCC to prevent people from trying to idle away a battle.

There's a solution for that that's older than the game itself. "Get everything done before hand, before you play a game"
You've got enough time to leak if you jump out of the MCC. We just dont want cowards lto sit in there and passivley earn isk like that.

How about if you stay in the MCC you get beat down by npc soldiers or better yet become attackable by everybody.
As for the salvage, it'd be awesome if you got one item from a kill that you could use as a one off item not otherwise in the game during a match.
Oh well, such is a game that lacks good development as certain other games, [cough] Disney Infinity [cough].

I like the salvage idea a lot, but if we could salvage everything from a body, there would be no need to buy new weapons or spend ISK altogether.

The point with the system is that you salvage at least one item but not all of them. Like the logistics example. Kill a logi, have a chance to salvage one of his equipment but not all of his suit. Try reading the entire thing next time.

I guess something should be done to avoid leaving battles , unless they gets dc'd.
