I guess I'm confused here
People complain if we get normal/AUR gear.
People complain if we get Officer gear.
I guess I'm not entirely sure what sort of rewards are considered acceptable by the community.

Nobody like Normal/Aur gear. At all. That stuff is complete crap. Now that I got that out of the way, its just their logic on it Lol why remove officer gear from the Warbarge at all? That was the best thing to even get on and play for.

Because it allowed people to collect (buy) at least 500 of each officer gun they use. More likely 1000 of each gun.
Warbarge officer gear production flooded the entire player market and it can't be fixed. It was already too late but at least they stopped it so it doesn't go infinitely worse.

Please CCP give me a reason to check the forums like when the next update is coming out because the forums are utterly BORING , if people aren't acting like five year olds asking for a port for a game that functions like a person caught in quicksand then you have people with bull .. ish topics like this one when their not complaining . Again , this seems like a complaint .
I understand why they did what they did , it was to drive gameplay by giving something that is now not obtainable by purchase hence the warbarge changes , everyone didn't dump hundreds into their warbarge to max it out so acquiring these items are a find because now they have a purpose and I'm glad that they changed the warbarge because it was needed .
Please CCP , help !!!!
You have such a dumb and foolish community that all they can do to past the time is complain about bull ... ish .
No brains = nothing constructive .

To be fair, the event requires more effort out of the player to earn those officer suits than the warbarge ever did...

I guess I'm not entirely sure what sort of rewards are considered acceptable by the community. You still miss the P2W part, where i got a 2 years old alt that cant pass those frame/archdukes while spending money you can get 75 officer suits per account and help new players leave this game

The event requires actually playing the damn game as opposed to Farmville 514.

Gee good thing they added a re roll missions button if the missions are too hard with the Free Aur they gave us.
Oh, now would you look at that, back to Farmville 514

And again I'm not really making an argument either way...I'm legitimately curious as to what people think the rewards should have been if both normal and officer gear is unacceptable.

The council repair tool was a damn decent reward. Perhaps we could have more gear that behaves differently than other standard gear of the same type.
How about an event that simply allows you to earn encrypted strongbox keys by the dozen?

Something that can be cool for new players, not something that can be exploited and turns in scam noobs, seriously a frame is going for 500k isk? Thats a scam . Otherwise keys as i have already built a city with my strongbox

Some pretty solid ideas. I think the difficulty with this particular event is that you basically need 12 unique rewards, and you obviously dont want to spam a ton of BPOs.
Boosters are good, both SP and LP Respec would be pretty solid Already have a SKIN for todays reward...also a good one Some AUR is always appreciated Hell I'd take some Warbarge components too, while not useful to everyone, certainly a nice thing for a lot of people Stardard Unique Variant BPOs are awesome...just want to make sure they're given out sparingly since theres only so many ways you can twist and item and you dont want to run out of ideas too fast lol

Pokey Dravon wrote:Hell I'd take some Warbarge components too Why hasn't this been explored yet? I mean really. It's something people have complained about since the warbarge's launch: components are just too damn hard to come by for F2Players.
- Chance of warbarge components dropping in EoM salvage is increased; 1 in 3 matches drops them.
- Amount of warbarge components dropped in EoM salvage is increased; 25% - 50% more.
- Reoccuring daily mission: complete 5 matches, get 500 warbarge components.
- Static mission for the duration of the event: earn 30 victories, get 5k components.
Make the event last a week. If players really like it then make it an event CCP runs once every 3 - 6 months for the F2Players.

I guess I'm not entirely sure what sort of rewards are considered acceptable by the community. Not a good comparison, unless the people complain about normal/AUR gear and Officer gear are the exact same people. It's akin to saying you're confused about why liberals complain about guns and conservatives complain about refugees.
That aside, I'd like events where the reward is something almost everyone could use (like the Krin's DM).
