Came out on July 6th 2015.
As of today that was 182 days ago. Six months.
There are games that receive expansions six months. We are still waiting on a single patch.
Oh, and here is a fun thought: we are roughly a month away from Chinese new year (Feb 7 - Feb 13). This is disrupt whatever major bug fixes will be needed for Warlords 1.3 if it gets released in January.
And CCP is completely silent. Not a word from them about the patch, or a port, or anything really. Not even a fine "**** you!".
Talk to any CPM2, ask them if they have been requesting CCP talk to us. They have been. CCP is straight up ignoring them too.
What a sad state of affairs we are in.

DUST Fiend wrote:At what point in DUST history has CCP NOT straight up ignored CPM? It's a publicity position, made to make people think CCP is involved with the community. The recent shield rework was basically submitted by CPM2 and made into a hotfix... They have a little more influence than you are giving them credit for.
Or they DID have more influence than you are giving them credit for, I should say.

DUST Fiend wrote:How you people are still here, actually playing, is 100% beyond my ability to comprehend. Well, I don't know about most people, but Dust is a pet project for me. I want to see it move to a current gen platform and see it thrive, but I have squeezed the current content dry as far as gameplay.
I spend small amounts of money and only when CCP actually does something (i.e. a content patch like Uprising 1.9, Warlords 1.1, 1.2, etc.). Hotfixes should be a given as they primarily consist of balancing changes that should be an ongoing effort throughout the life of the game.
I post on the forums, maintain friends and networks on skype, twitter, and in some in-game channels. I will play a match once a week, if that. I've picked up some incredible PC games recently that I get infinitely more enjoyment from. Ever play any of the old cRPGs like Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights? If so, check out Pillars of Eternity. It's been really fun and was made to be a kind of spiritual successor to those games.
I have gotten off track...
All that to say: I don't play this game nearly as much as I used to.

Along with the "controversial" nature of "1.3", expect to be buttmadd.
I'm stocking up on torches to burn what's left of the forums down again. Set buttmad phasers from Bottom Bothered to Anal Annihilation.
For real though, with 6 months invested in Warlords 1.3 it better have some truly spectacular content or be rolled in with a port announcement. Otherwise, people going to flip their proverbial ***** with a quickness.

Jadek Menaheim wrote:If they design meta level as security status I could see them taking it a step toward applying meta restrictions to items like blue bottles and locus grenades.
You couldn't fit those items in high sec space battles (i.e. general contracts); however they would work for factional and planetary conquest. "Sir, myofib stimulants are a controlled substance. Do you have a prescription for this?" "I, uh, that is to say... I..." "Step out of the LAV, sir."

Shinobi MumyoSakanagare ZaShigurui wrote:You do understand that Warframe is what Dust isn't .?. and that's playable and it does what Dust does but does it better with mods , suits , weapons and abilities , I mean ... who would play this game over that if it was on the PS4 with all the glitches and bugs that are riddled through the game besides those who are here in these forums ?
Warframe is better , has more players and does it better then Dust 514 and it wouldn't make sense for CCP to port when you have the PS5 in production with a 2018 release date .
It would be better to work out the bugs and kinks and fix what's broken so that the game can make a name for it's self besides ridicule like it has on the PS3 .
To port the game when there is so much that needs to be done is just flat out foolish and going against Warframe would result in a big fat " L " .
It's just childish and selfish to keep suggesting to keep trying to push CCP to port this game with all the work that's needed . All I am hearing here is that CCP should port to PC so they can iterate on DUST without having to worry about Sony coming out with a new console every couple years.
DUST Fiend wrote:But it's third person :/ It took me a long time to get used to it, but once I did I realized it was a great game. DE actually talks to their players. It's refreshing. Oh, and the monetization in Warframe is pretty player friendly. Their equivalent to SKINs don't cost $10 ******* dollars and work on more gear.
