I recently skilled into this monster. What are some suggestions for this aerial vehicle?
It says that it uses hybrid missile turrets? Are those the same as the missile launchers?
Anyhow, I want to learn how to use this thing and what works best.

P.S. I'm still learning to fly and my dumba** sold all 50 quafe DSs a few days ago.  |

Those dropships were just transport Ads and aren't like the incubus. The missile launchers other name is hybrid missile launcher since it does equal damage against shield and armor. Half of the fits are either armor stacking and armor hardner while the other half will do dual reps with one armor plate on. I know that isn't helpful but maybe a start towards a fit.
Been logi'ing since release. Need to give those needles and self proclaimed king of logi hugs ^-^

2 enhanced armor hardener
1 complex light armor rep
1 complex afterburner
1 xt missile launcher
My best streak was 48/0 with this fit

a little update as to how my flying skills are going: [This was expensively hilarious] I wanted to reload my turret so I press the square button, I see how that didn't affect it so I decide to hold the button instead! Big mistake! I next find myself falling from grace with the behemoth directly on top of me. I don't know how I survived without major damage (I'll thank the commando suit). Of course the DS did not survive.
On another occasion, I was nailed 3 times by a RG installation which caused my ship to fail. As I tried to safely jump off, the ship blows up! What happened? An Experimental Sniper Rifle hit the fuel tank or something That was amazing to see that a sniper bullet finished me up.
Thanks for the fit advice. I will keep my new wings. I also found some youtube videos to teach me, but I like to learn by trial and error. |

....The Incubus, a rather evil beast, hates both it's master and it's foes.
There's a few ways you can play the Incubus role.
1. Fake Python
2. Rail Incubus
3. Blaster Incubus
Don't worry, I'm going to go over fittings tactics and all for these 3 roles.
Fake Python- This is any Incubus that you equip a Missile Launcher to...You simply fly around and splash people with missiles and pop EVERY enemy uplink. You need every single point you can get when you're in an ADS and you don't want someone spawning with a swarm launcher right under you. So always pop uplinks
Best Fit: 3 complex light reps 1 basic light shield booster 1 missile turret.
Rail Incubus- The Rail Incubus is by far my favorite dropship role, it's a rare role, no one really uses it anymore except for the few OG's left. You put a rail turret on your incubus and go hunt enemy vehicles, spend your spare time popping installations and roadkilling infantry when possible. Stay high up, wait for a vehicle, swoop down behind it, turn on heatsink, destroy vehicle, fly back up. I literally can't explain how hard this role is to perform properly, without significant practice you won't hit anything using the rail. If you're hit by any AV immediately leave unless you can roadkill the player.
Best Fit: 3 complex light reps 1 complex heatsink 1 rail turret
Blaster Incubus- Don't even try, this role is so broken that it's basically become a joke, unless you are just one of the best ADS pilots out there, then there is no use in putting a blaster turret on an incubus, it works well for popping equipment though.
Best Fit: Any fit other than a blaster incubus
