Better way is to have extra cooldown rather than few % of dmg.

It's OP as faq, you can even use it in CQ but it's not recommended.

I use the templar laser once n a while. I don't understand why it's so strong vs armor. It has to be a mistake.
I wonder how much more damage its putting out when it's close to overheating.

Aah the inner beauty of the laser rifle enlightens another.
That thing is fun. Its practically chesthurting laughter burning the scouts like the little ants they are.(bonus points for melting them cloaked)
Just sitting high above the objective,watching anime with my laser rifle at my side,sort of guarding the point(that is just holding r1 whenever the point started flashing.)
Melting nearly everything that walked within 100m.
Though I've had some panic moments where I had to use the laser in cqc. It was fun blowing up that tank with just an elm 7 laser.
