That was my first thought as well. The DS3 and specifically the sensitivity that they have given it its just plain not good enough for real FPS action.
Shotguns, Mass Drivers, and Flaylocks would become the only viable weapons.

I could not help myself.
It should be either alt 8800 or alt 2260 but those do not seem to work in windows 10.
You have to use the numpad with num lock turned on.
In windows 10 I get
Gòÿ for 2260
and
` for 8800
Even the win 10 character map shows it as 2260 so I am a bit confused right now.

EDIT:
2260 should work for you it seems that a startup program may be messing with my character map. I'm getting the same results on Windows 7. Meh, I'll Google it.
Yea it seems that unicode only works in windows programs.
Here are the only ones I can find that work outside of windows based software such as Chrome.
