PC master race is real. PC Master Race is cancer. It needs to be chemo'd out of existence. Spending more money on gaming does not make you superior to others.
Console gaming is the biggest cash grab of the gaming industry. On average there is a wider range of prices on games and PC builds can vary from $600-$3000. So you pay more upfront for a piece of hardware that will last you longer than a console and has greater functionality...
Its not about spending the most money its about spending your money intelligently.
Plus why would any of you want a New Eden FPS to exist on a console when we all know damn well they have a limited lifespan??
Do you want another PS3-like experience when the PS4 faces its next gen?
Its not about console vs PC its about making a solid New Eden FPS and the benefits of PC far outweigh the negatives. Which the only thing people seem to assume is that "omg hackerz will kill it" - oh just like every major title on the PC? They're ALL dead due to hackers, right?  |

You make it seem like games in general are not worth playing on the PC cause of hackers. My PC gaming experience started well over 15 years ago. I've played most major titles and lots of indie games. I've played major MMOs, FPS games, strategy games and pretty much any genre you can name.
Wanna know how many games I've had to stop playing because "hackers ruined it"?
0 - zip - nada.
I've encountered hackers in games, maybe a play session was disturbed or I had to change servers but I never had to quit a game entirely solely because of hackers. Nor has any experience made me feel like PC games are overrun with hackers.
And Dust's ****** match making, terrible lag and glitches make matches just as ****** as if you had to deal with a hacker... How many games in Dust do people leave just because they don't wanna play a few people down or they don't want to play against certain corps or players?
Before you cry wolf about hackers on the PC maybe you should play something other than counterstrike.
Also you really don't think EVEs anti-cheat/anti-hack measures couldn't be applied to a New Eden FPS? |
