So i was looking at the road map and I'm seeing No proto/officer in pubs if we want to build our player base why wasn't this first on the list? Of thing to happen!

why do you think it has to be limited to over all suit meta number, pubs every suit/gun/equipment over XX no go. so you can have meta 35 but the gun that has over meta XX isnt going to fly, so deal!

Most of the people using that stuff are more than good enough to beat the **** out of you without it. It's not as much of a crutch as people seem to think.
I've used plenty of Darth's scrambler rifles and I never wreck people because I'm not that good at shooters. You have to have the guns AND be good with them. Locking out the guns themselves won't do anything.
Most of them peps I drop with apex, in their proto/officer setup, and locking down the equipment an gear in pubs, is a start! That is the point I'm making! If it don't matter about the metalock out, and support for the new guys, then why do these numbers call you a lair! To those that don't want Metalocks for the new peps! Without something for nobbs, this game will die faster then it already is, or that's maybe why they haven't put something in!

Forced PC fights if you want to us office/proto I know its so hard to deal with them new players and all with out proto or office cuss you suck so bad with out it, but I mean really, really! Point is game is at that point now due to office stompers and proto stompers in pubs, there needs to be a line your not able to cross, I get you cant stay in the training area all the time but, why make new peps go from easy and fun to crap and no fun for them! If you have the skills to us officer and proto go do factional and keep out of the pubs or not us it, I know its not going to happen so forcing ones hand is needed, to up the over all numbers if we don't it will just be us die hard's left to do a circle jerk by our self's!

counter all you want its needed, and it was needed from day one of release, as the testers know what to train and what was what or at less i did speaking as a closed test, sorry for the circle bit but it was funny

I support removing Proto/Officer Gear from Pubs but I am all for having it used in FW. FW and PC is where people can use Proto/Officer Gear. I support porting Dust to PS4 so we can get an influx of newer players. That would actually solve the problem. That and no one answers my question about equipment. What about equipment? ADV repair tools are less than 1/2 the efficiency of its Pro variation.For weapons it's 1 or 2 points,for repair tools it's (75+13)=88x2=176 -or- a loss of 101 reps per second.(Triage version.) How can you justify a loss of 101 reps per second? You can't.

How is it any less fun to us advanced? vs officer/proto in pubs? If anything it would test your metal, really when you think about it, as you cant buy officer gear off the market, it would make more sense to only allow you to loss it where you don't make isk! Most of the best match's I've played and really had fun in is where there are no proto/officers or a really limited number of them, getting full teams of proto is overwhelming and only fun for one side, that kind of play tens to turn peps off on this game, not make them want more! Is there a large number of masochist playing this game that I'm not aware of?

What you guys seem to be missing is that nothing in this game supports meta locks. Payouts are generated by ISK destroyed. Tanks have been switched to some sort of hybrid tiericide system that leaves their metas useless. Core skills and the warbarge damage bonus essentially multiply meta. Trust me if I saw one single argument that actually made sense for meta locks I would not be here trying to explain why it will not work. Meta locks are not the band aid to solve the fact that there is no incentive to win and poor is a polite word for matchmaking.
OK a band add on a buck shoot wounds is better then doing nothing about it, the payout system isnt really going on isk lost it looks at a part of that over all number and adds a little to the over all battle cost, adding to a pre set config is all its doing. I've been on them losing teams where no one really died cuss it was 3 on 10 and I've been on the other end of got paid almost half a mil both ways the fact they will not share their math shows its BS but that isn't the issue here! From what I can tell there are those that give a damn about this game and those that give a damn about them self's and i would say we are at a impasse, ether purpose something useful to the subject or leave it alone!
