Don't you realize you are just playing the role of front man in keeping people feeding CCP through complete silence?
By constantly acting like there is a port coming you are enabling CCP to ignore you. Why would they speak any set plans when all this rumor mongering and assumption making is doing far more than they ever could.
Why do you think they just throw little "hints" out when things get slow? They commit to nothing and you take their hints and run with them on zero basis.
Please guys lets force CCP to actually talk. This comes first and foremost from not doing their job for them.

It does not mean you can not do artwork or even talk about the possibilities of a port. There is a big difference tho between marketing the current Dust 514 for CCP and trying to get CCP to actually port. First we have to show CCP that they must support this game and treat the players properly and then let them make the decision to port.
While I can not speak with absolute certainty I feel I would be safe in saying that no one involved in the actual decision to port has seen a single one of these threads. Hilmar, the board, the accounting department, and other upper level management are looking at nothing more than numbers on a spread sheet. We can beg, plead, cry, or however else you want to phrase it but that does not change the spreadsheet which does not change their decision.
Look up the leaked Hilmar memos if you don't believe me.

I am all but gone from Dust and REALLY want to see it catch up to me on the PS4. The issue is that is simply not going to happen while people keep pumping false hope that turns CCP a profit with absolutely zero investment.
I log on to Dust a couple times a week for no more than a hour at a time just to check in with friends and see if by some sort of miracle I can get 1 balanced match to remind me why I want this game ported so badly.

CCP has made their decision and until their hand is forced that decision will not be revealed. Whether they have decided on a new platform or decided to let Dust blow away with the wind blind optimism that only makes them more money and asks less work of them only prolongs the situation.
The only people looking for a good boy treat here are the ones doing CCPs job promoting the game and upping their profits.
If you honestly think any one with any decision making power even comes near these forums then you are just plain foolish. They are busy managing the GunJack release, prepping for the Valkyrie release, sucking up money to invest in other VR projects, and trying to grow Eve leaving us with not a bit of attention to be paid. Hell even Rattati the glorious savior of Dust has gone deathly silent for just under 2 months now.
