Difference is we laced up our boots and banded ourselves together and ran our own min assaults with shotguns and got super drunk so you could not tell if it was lagging. We then moped the floor with them at their own crappy tactics till they gave up and went into hideing. We have since retired and now it is you who is failing to keep them in check for the greater good of PC. You should be ashamed of your resolve and lack of drive. I pitty you fools and we will not save you anymore. Yep they won a few battles for like a week. Then we all had a meeting and discussed the anti-latino tactics. They were then decimated by the end of the month. meetings are OP If these new kids would understand this they wouldn't be getting wiped out right now. Dust User for CPM 3.

I notice it's still there after I've dealt with the disk lag by buying a 12GB SuperSlim PS3 with flash memory drive. The lag is at least 2 seconds. It works in favour of both sides, depending on circumstances. Basicly anyone who surprises anyone or shoots them in the back can just keep shooting for an inordinate amount of time (2s) before the other player even wakes up to the fact they're being hit. When it's you being hit, you can die almost before you even hear the first shot. For the record, I'm in Australia, further away from the American server than the Mexicans or Sth Americans. And yet, I generally don't experience network lag with the rest of the world, other than when the Mexicans and Sth Americans are on. I don't think having the Oceania server would have been of any benefit. Most people routinely connect to the American server to find matches. Automatic just tries to find them on the Asian server and just keeps searching forever.

While we are on the subject of splitting servers, yes give them their own server and watch matchmaking become more of a nightmare. you Can't collect tears based on the fact that you have bad Internet. In order to collect tears they would have to have gungame. I have fought more wars on dust against the Latino playerbase than any other group. They lost every single war but yet every fuken battle was a unbelievable slideshow of lag. Its the reason the whole American playerbase moved to ps4 because no one is going to put up with lag battles anymore. Now just imagine how it is for a player in Europe in that same environment. Took advantage? They are farther away from the server, so their lag would be greater. How is being more laggy an advantage? I do agree that they should have their own server, given their numbers, because North Americans have a connection advantage over them. This is true However, it all opinion based when guys get to naming the best this or that. Leaddserboards in such a diverse game as dust can easily be focused on by those that care. A large percentage of players don't even bother to look at the leaderboards so they don't focus on getting on it. Thus leaderboards can't truly be used as a scale of skill. If they had a stat for team carries i'd definitely be locking down 1st in the category lol! "Anybody order chaos?"

You look at every other online game and a player with a bad connection will have a harder time killing people, not the other way around (since they'd be seeing the enemy get teleported all over due to high network latency).
