After every jump you should take 9000+ damage upon landing. Seriously though if you want jet packs make jet packs so that they can be balanced by cool down and such not this half-assed jump mod BS. |

Ya know a funny thing happens when you fight fire with fire... the ones that started it will run but you can never stop the fire.
I guess I'm trying to say that if you fight scrubs with their own tactics they usually suck at the play style and run.

Was gonna say just this, except they can die by drowning or falling.

There are a multitude of ways in with which Myos can be balanced. However, those ways apparently can't be done via hotfix. Those ways have been talked about numerous times, and if the CPM are at all competent, they've discussed things amongst themselves and with Rattati&co.
But of course, we don't know anything BECAUSE CCP DOES NOT BOTHER TO COMMUNICATE WITH ITS CUSTOMERS AND THE CPM EITHER CAN'T OR WON'T CHIME IN WITH REGARDS TO MYOFIBRILS AND WHETHER OR NOT THE ALLEGED UPCOMING (OR NOT) UPDATE/HOTFIX/WHATEVER WILL DEAL WITH THEM.

Yes, those scrubs that can't aim are the ones jumping over people repeatedly whilst spamming area of effect weapons - because they can't aim non-AoE weapons. And then they complain when you suggest fixes for the problem. |

It's very easy to kill them. When they go up they must fall in one direction and can't change said direction while falling. That's when you REK them, +50 most of the time. Or my favorite. Throw a Nade where they will land.

I agree however I can't help but to wonder why are you in FA if you don't like such a cheap tactic? Seems right up FA's alley.
Most of what I see around here is just a bag of dicks in need of some kicks.

It's the new iteration of the super strafe and it is pretty irritating. Just to be clear, it's not really the use of aoe that's a problem.
What people do is they fit their assault with a rifle and myofibs. In a shoot/strafe-out with an enemy, once both are at low hp the myo user will jump. This throws off the enemy's aim long enough to get the kill. Rinse repeat. This is on top of the other obvious benefits such as mobility, high ground, melee damage.
Apart from being kind of irritating, I don't have a problem with the tactic in principle. The trouble is it's overpowered, evidenced by the number of people that use it.
In a PC on an outside point, the vast majority of players will be myo-assaults, and they are very difficult to beat unless you are also a myo assault. It looks and feels quite silly with everyone jumping around like gazelles.
It would a shame to nerf the ability to take high ground, but the evasion is OP.
I suggest multiplying the stamina cost of jumping by the number of myos fitted. Apart from the obvious lore reasons this makes sense, this would be a good change as it doesn't limit map access by reducing jump height. Neither does it prevent people using myos for evasion. It just means that people that want to use them in combat would be strongly encouraged to fit a cardiac regulator to improve stamina regen, thus slightly reducing the effectiveness of the tactic.
Also they should have the proper stacking penalty like every other percentage module. |
