Honestly i will gladly see something, but it looks like skins are more important than fixing core issues (Lag, hit detection, frame rates, popups).
I like this game, i supported this game by some money, but it looks like there is really small push for fixes.

The time spent on creating Dust from scratch on PS3 is better spent migrating it to a console that isn't a decade old.

I did not tell anything against port etc.
I just dont think "Ps3 killed dust" is right.
I understand what is issue here and i will gladly see some future for this game, but sadly i not that optimistic.
If there will be port oki, no issues i just know issue is not console itself.

Instead of "Ps3 killed dust" i will chose something like "coding killed dust" XD
Because there is games (and you cannot tell there is not) what basicaly doing still great on this old system ;)

They didn't kill the game itself, but the community. Look at thenumber of people who left for these games and never came back. They are plenty :/

I agree ps3 infrastructure is nonsence, but from other side there is still games who did great even on this limited hardware.

There are games, but do you know exactly how much dust takes? DUST is not some single player yakuza game, it is not some Call of Dung, dust is a lot, and on the ps3 it is literally cut into a quarter of what it should be.
It is the system, the ps3 can not even think to stand in comparison to the ps4 or PC, or Dreamcast.

Regardless of that, it is worth noting this was CCPs first game on Console and on a system that is already hard to work with, not to dismiss the fact they have only developed one successful game at the time and had not done research on FPS games....
Yes they shouldn't have developed for the PS3 but to say the PS3 killed DUST is eh... It could have still been a great PS3 game if it was done by people who knew what they were doing. Imagine if Naughty Dog programmed this game properly? The game would still have died on PS3 but it would have gotten the attention it deserved and the support for a port.
I'm only using Naughty Dog as an example, if they had hired developers who had prior experience or were party of Sony Studios it would have been a different story.
