Depends on marketing and how well it plays.
It can't have near the glitches and bugs of Dust, or else it will be over before it began.

Period.
The systems are fundamentally not compatible with each other.
New game or nothing.
Accept the truth. When people talk "Port Dust" we are not talking a true Port. It is a common understanding among the community that we want a Dust like FPS that plays well, without the glitches, on a newer engine like UE4.
This would be obvious if you actually read the content of many of the threads people post, and looked at the content of what they are saying rather than fixating on the literal definition of merely one of the words they use.
No one wants this glitchy UE3 experience on the PS4 or PC.

If you want a campaign to keep this game going, then don't mislead with language like "port"
Too many people think an actual port is possible, when it isn't.
Misinformation like this will only hurt your cause.
>>>>>>
"Save DUST - Keep playing (paying?)" - is the only effort that will pay off in the long run Maybe work on reading comprehension?
It's quite obvious what people are talking about, and "port" is just an easy placeholder for "A version of Dust that is what both CCP and players wanted the game to be, and not this glitchy, buggy game limited by an older system and poor coding."
If people had to write that crap out every time they said "port" conversing on the topic would be overly cumbersome. You don't have to like it, but if you don't want to accept it, you don't have to be part of the conversation. Being nitpicky over semantics that have zero importance to the discussion wastes your time and ours.
Of course, you could just be a trolly alt because you have nothing better to do. Particularly given your likes. In which case, I am sorry that you can't find anything better to do.

Devadander wrote:Not a damn one of you are on topic... To be honest, your topic ignores the facts that:
A) We don't know when Dust will be on the PS4, even if we assume it is coming at some point. So we don't know the other games that will be on it, their size etc.
B) We don't know what this port will look like. If it is as bad as it was in Uprising 1.0, then even those of us wanting a port may not spend time playing.
C) We don't know what the marketing will be like. If the publicity is anything like Gunjack or Valkyrie, then there may be a chance. If it is anything like Dust when it released, then it won't make much difference.
All of these suggest an answer to your question of "Never." Which is in itself off topic, because your question assumes that being the No. 1 F2P title is a foregone conclusion.

What exact statement or statements are self inflating?
I merely pointed out the inherent assumptions in your argument, in order to answer both your comment that we are off topic, and tie it in with the original post.

Nothing for you brotein, sorry chummer. Not arguing, making points.
I was simply pointing out the assumptions within your thirteen words to attempt to bring the discussion back around.
How that can be interpreted as self inflating is beyond me.
I even gave you the opportunity to point to what it was that you consider self inflating so I can either clarify the comments, or redact them. My guess is you refused to, not because I missed something, but because you have nothing to which to point. I would rather you prove me wrong by pointing out the comments, because I am certainly not perfect and any constructive feedback with regards to communication is sincerely appreciated.
Mere deflections however are not helpful. Especially when I was actually trying to refocus the topic.
