CCP is currently working towards the release of VR title EVE: Valkyrie for the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR headsets. The company is also working on EVE Online: Citadel, the next expansion to EVE Online, set for release in the first quarter of 2016.

Over my 5 years working with Maria Sayans, I was immensely impressed by her ability to manage complex product launches that were completely new and innovative to the business. The complexity and management of individual market needs while maintaining global overview was daily business for Maria. Her ability was regularly evident from peers and territories: I remember laudable praise throughout the company when she was announced to lead the launches of the key franchise Battlefield.

Its a vicious circle. I believe CCP has basically gave up on DUST because the game is too small and does not attract enough attention, however the reason not more people play it is because of the terrible release it had as well as suffering with many basic bugs, control issues and huge performance issues.
If CCP had released a more fixed and proper game, more people would have played there by increasing its overall rating and generating CCP more money.
Truly a vicious circle. I wish there was more coming for DUST or a port of DUST but it appears the top brass at CCP are off on a new venture with VR now. |
