It's not only that the project was wayyyy out of their professional capabilities, It's the fact, that they obviously do not have the slightest clue how to organise a project. They might act as if they are cladari with business plans and so on, but in their harts, they are pure minmatar, bits and pieces glued together with ducttape, minus the Winmatars op'ness...
It's just utterly pathetic.
I just feel for Ratt and the few devs who have to cope with all that crap.

To be perfectly honest, I hope, that Gunjack and Valkyrie are a big success....
If not CCP will be in big trouble.
If yes, there might be hope for a new iteration of Dust in the future.
Right now, it seems ALL dev resources are pulled away towards other products.
There isn't even a market update whatsoever since mid october... roughly the time when the Ratt went silent.
So face it guys, the gamemasters are what's left on this game.
There is no development, since CCP has way more important stuff to get right than our little corner of the EVE universe.
And if they fail, the whole company might go down the drain! These new investors want revenue they don't care about your accumulated SP or ISK or whatever dreams you have as a Dust player...
Sad but true, we are not important to CCP at the moment. That doesn't mean they don't care, it means they can't care because of other more important stuff going on. |
