So it's obvious the war room is nothing more than a place for us old fogies to tell our war stories like.... a thousand times over to each other, so let's do just that.
So my favorite two experiences are:
1) I was ringing for Roman at one point. Murphy's was about a month or two old at the time, and we were either fighting Vengeance or Bloodline or someone else, hard to remember to be honest. So in the middle of the match I'm getting pelted by multiple AV, I do my usual retreat, shoot stuff and be a general slut, when I hear a buzzer go off. We're getting torn apart at this stage, when I realize that I've got an apple pie baking in the oven, and I have to apply the top of the crust. Torn between turning the battle or saving my pie, I go to the oven and pull out the pie, put the top on hastily, then put it back in the oven.
After I return, I notice Roman managed to pull the match back, so I go in and we win. The pie was delicious and worth it btw.
2) This was during the Dark Legion massive land grab stage. Basically what happened was they threw a bunch of attacks and got defenses they couldn't field, so they call FA in to field an attack, I was to be the FC of this fight. Ares asked if we could field an attack at 0100, but we couldn't because we had a fight at that time. So we got a fight at 0200 I think. After we get our match done, most of our guys log off, and I'm trying to form a team, with well over a half hour left to form, or so I thought.
I get the ferry in the chat, and I've got about ten people in squad and ready. I remember Shepard Commander, Ace, Hakyou and TTW being there. I'm trying to get some alliance guys in and I ask the ferry the ETA on the fight.
Ferry: It's right now...
Me: What?!!!! I was told 0200! We should've had more time!! Ferry, get aces squad and the other one in there now!!!
He gets them in there, I'm scrambling for dudes, getting anyone I can at this stage. I then get a sitrep on the battle from Ace.
Ace: We just got D, but they're almost in our armor.
Me: Oh god, hold up we're getting in.
I scramble a crap ton of guys to try to five cap the enemies. We manage to hold a five cap long enough to catch up towards the end, and I'm frantic at this point.
We have three points, yet two are going to flip. They have two, and one is going to flip. One null missile will decide the match. At the last five seconds I recall saying: "I swear to God if we win this, I'm buying everybody hookers". We win with one tick left and the energy is explosive!

Jigoku, Myself, Derrith, and Cracker Jacked showed up to play a defense. The guys we were ringing for were Russian.
We don't speak Russian. We had a single translator on their team.
It boiled down to us just saying "You guys handle bridge and the outside points. Us four will handle the city".
We literally did a 4 man city hold. Jig and I ran scout in the city, Jack made sure we didn't run out of uplinks to spawn on and Derrith did a solo DS in the city. They brought 8 people in city at one point. We destroyed them.
I'll never forget losing to AE because of Dwater.
We had MCC. We were going to win. Clones were low. People stopped spawning in. We ran to the redline.
A few died. One guy was left. Dwater. We had one clone.
We told him to ditch his tank and run for the redline.
He wanted to save his tank.
Then he got assblasted by Rail shots to the rear.
AND COMMS WENT ******* CRAZY.
Wolfica pissed off Z once and got called a mailbox. He was really offended for some reason. I was more confused than anything at the time.

Dropship launching with uplinks. AKA what FA did during no-shows.
When Cap Aq took a piece of FA land and wrote "GG FA" in uplinks. Not gonna lie, that sh*t was hilarious.
Ghost Shadoww's rant. Listening in on it was beautiful.
I'll also never forget the 5 day and 32 fight defense vs ERA before getting wiped by AE on the weekend. We stonewalled that sh*t. 30 wins, 2 losses if memory serves.
Goddamn, I weep for the past. Its been a great few years.

Had a lot of great times in pc....
but hands down, my most favorite time was the first night of the FEC-EoN war. RND had the second most districts in EoN at the time (behind TP). I remember having 15 pcs in a 3 hour window. Everyone from RND came out and stayed up until the last battle was over. And it was a flawless night. It was awesome.

The 16 Day Siege of DNS vs FA. Everyday FA fended off 17+ Districts against ERA,AE,TP until Kain realized that he would have to buy us into the Super Alliance... The greatest and most prolific time in PC meta... Still rolling in isk off that.

One of my favorite PCs was back when i was Ceo of GAM and we had a PC vs 0.H . we had 10 GAM and 6 Pure Evil guys it was at lag map too. we ended up winning by half a tick with about 3 clones left. The last 5 seconds of the match everyone got dead quiet and stopped moving. The screen went black and then the victory screen appeared and everyone was screaming and after the PC finished we all stayed on comms to talk about the PC for about an hour.

my favorite memory when i was going up a mountain to kill a guy at his mcc who was killing my team with a blaster and when i started getting to the top a enemy tank came flying over my head and then got shot in mid air and was destroyed and killed me with it. |

Mostly just Blitz and myself rolling in tanks. Death too. It could be PCs or back when ambush had vehicles.
I remember logging in at 7am, Squading up with Blitz and giving Nyain San tankers in ambush hell. The most fun I've ever had with Dust.
When I used to logi in PCs, I suppose the most memorable thing was Rei and I yelling at one another.

Did some digging to retrieve this, had to share.
Story summary:
Attacked VU hub. Won first battle, reup won second, reup again go into third. Hard fought, MCC down to mere ticks. We both clone each other out with a tick left. Suspense waiting for black screen. VU gets the V, but there's 0 clones left altogether for both sides. Leave battle screen, go straight to starmap. District is vacant. Both teams spam clone packs at the hour mark, we get the district. VU tears break the CCP support ticket dam and flood Tranquility. We are having a ball in corp chat, drinks all around. I wake up the next day to the following emails:

This message is being sent to inform you that the ownership of Muttokon II - District 7 has been changed. It appears that your corporation came into possession of this district despite losing the battle that preceded the ownership change. Despite losing the battle you were able to successfully move clones onto the district approximately 1 hour later and thus take possession. That the defenders of the district won the battle should have meant that no such movement of clones should have been possible.
It appears that you were able to take possession due to a bug in the underlying game mechanics. This bug has been brought to the attention of the developers who are investigating. We have refunded your corporation the cost of the clones that was moved to the district, this should be reflected in your corporation wallet journal.
We would like to pass on our apologies for any inconvenience this ownership change has caused. Hopefully you appreciate that when a district owner change is made outside of normal game mechanics then we need to intervene.

We have received word back from the developers that as the clone count in the district reached 0 then it was allowable for another corporation to move clones onto the district and thus gain ownership. As such my previous message may be disregarded.
Your corporation is again the owner of the Muttokon II - District 7. The 120 clones that you purchased for the district are in place and as such we have removed the refund that my previous message indicates.
Please accept my personal apologies for the mistake in removing the ownership from your corporation. The mistake was entirely mine.
If you have any questions then please update this ticket. Should you prefer that the questions be answered by another Senior Game Master then please indicate as such.

Basically, GM Arcade thought he would take the initiative and switch ownership. Then, he got the ultrabent by devs. This is the only time in PC history that this situation ever occurred. To this day, I want to be in VU corp chat when the district was subsequently removed from them and given to us.
Favorite personal moment tho? Crashing my python onto tall profac tower and giving Roman the pilot logi people's elbow as Parthok watched from above (doing nothing to help) during the Tso's War. Oh and Kaisar's GG FA comment was a good one too.

I was in those battles on the VU side needless to say Vice was ultra pissed when we figured out it was given to you lol. It was however a great battle!

Internal Error vs OH.
TP had just hired OH. OH set up a match against the original N-F. We fielded mainly internal error if I remember correctly. This OH team was the real OH A team imo and I remember them putting up great fights in chrome. They had wet deamz, grimiers, and a many other OG OH that I can't remember at this time. They were beating us in MCC most of the game but we were out slaying them. It was a 1 tick game towards the end with OH winning. I remember being the last one alive on the bridge at A with two clones left on the OH side. We have 1 tick left. I get in a 1 vs 1 with whataguy. I kill him with just 300ish armor left as I bleedout out the heavy there is another scout on the bridge. (Can't remember who it was. It was so long ago.) Instead of engaging me he jumps under the bridge hoping the last tick will go so they can get the win. I jump down after him with no time for my shields to recharge. I get into an epic 1 vs 1 with the scout and beat him with about 50 armor left. Everyone sees the kill on the killfeed and starts screaming for me to bleed him out. I already had bled him out and was just waiting for it to register.
Our last tick dies and it looks like we lost. When the victory screen pops up everyone start screaming at the top of their lungs in a victorious celebration. I had lots of memorable moments in PC but this was by far the most clutch exciting moment I was ever involved in. I rose to the occasion and just barley pulled out the win in a very close match. So much adrenaline in those last few moments.
I really miss matches like that. I don't think dust will ever be that fun for me ever again.

My funniest memory was SirManBoy accidentally running over Bear with an LAV 10 seconds into a PC. This was in the opening days of PC. Not sure why, but it really made me laugh at the time.

I remember back in the day when i was in dyst0pian, back when us snipers were good and hated. We was warring against Red Star, 17 days straight, i think we lost like once. 17 days straight we held our district.
I would be the lone Mountain overwatch, man i miss those days.
But on topic; One time we were 4 cappin them, only a few of us died, had to go SMG because they were flooding the mountain. We just straight bodied them down to 1 clone, all that was left was their CEO and dy5topia forbade us from killing him, so we just ******* chased him around the map shooting at his feet until we got him just outside the city. We trapped him in a circle, the comms were like a mosh pit of laughter and yelling. The guy would run around, trying to shoot us until he ran out of ammo and then just would melee. He killed one guy and everyone just heckled and laughed at his dumbass.
I remember getting a few shots on his nuts before dys just walked up and just meleed him right as the tick fell. It was hilarious, we had a party afterwards. |

I would go with one of our many battles with SOG. One in particular, our entire team was booted from the network about half way through the battle. Not sure how we did it but all got logged back on, in the game, and much to our surprise took back the points and won.

On to more topic related posting!
A more memorable occasion was a battle I had against Random Guns where we had won the previous battle by a reasonable margin and were now going for the flip. It was towards the end of the battle and Random Gunz had a larger lead then we would have liked for that late of a stage into the game. I died on Delta probably as a result of the 5-10 fps I had, when I died they had multiple people on the point had gotten the hack off and we didn't seem to have a big presence on the point.
I spawned on an uplink underneath the bridge and managed to in barely more than a slideshow move myself up to the point kill the Gal logi sitting on the point. While my hack was going through the rest of the HP squad miraculously managed to counterhack Delta. While Alpha still flipped to our control 3 people pushed across the bridge to me, I spammed a couple nades on the ground to slow them. I dropped Silver strike down to 41 hp then he dashed behind the panel and I proceeded to engage the other two opponents focusing more on staying alive so that I could shoot them off the panel then trying to win any engagement in the ridiculous lag. The point flipped right after I eventually died and we won by 1 tick.
I'm still disappointed that Silver opted to post the rather uneventful 1st game which I may have done well in but not the more intense second one where I went on like 6 death streak because of frame rate issues. This is the one he posted https://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=iNa_mBGKCtA |

Cap's favorite map Research Lag Facility against FA.
Me and feed took enemy homepoint from like 4 FA Derrith even crashed his python to try and stop us. Feedback was carrying me like no other, all I had to do was sit back, hack and booby trap son. At one point they actually killed both to of us, but lucky me they forgot to flux, as soon I spawned they exploded before they could get the hack off. The background was nothing but yelling about lag it was just pure ecstasy, the clutch made me hard as a rock dude.

I'd say my absolute favorite match was when Blitz used his voice changer to sound like Alvin from the cipmunks vs FA. It was dead silent, then he says, "Alrighty people move your asses". I quite literally could not run to the city because I was alughing too hard. Every thing he said simply brought on more laughter.

When rg first came into pc and only had three districts ghosts were bitter after losing ours to... someone idk who at that time we got kicked so much. We decided to just hit all three. At that time we still had between 20-30 people on at all times so we grabbed a few ae to fill one of the teams. Ended up winning our initial attacks, keq comes to save the day on the other district though, no big deal right we still had two reups. Next day we field the same team on one and fill the other with gam. With our battle going for the flip we pushed hard, again keq shows but at this point we've beaten them before so no one is worried. Well... turns out ae and shiyu were using militia on our reup. Ok not sure if they were just having fun or intentionally losing it for us thinking their lesson had been delivered. Probably a little of both idk nor really care it was fun. Gam actually pulled off the win for us in the other fight with 99 clones left. They had the 4 cap on a 5 point production most the match but when clones got tight 501 told everyone to leave the city and wait it out in the redline but of course they didn't listen. Next day keq shows again for them and we lose by more than half armour in this one maybe more maybe less I'm not sure now. Oh what could have been if I had the exp. then that I have now. So much fun back then and this failed campaign sticks with me for some reason.
We've held more districts at one time with our 6 occasional players now than we did with 30 back then, competition hardly exists these days but without it neither does my drive to play and campaign. I enjoy logging on and ringing for my friends when it pleases me though there are some awesome people left in the game still.
Now you know a little of our history besides tk'ING cap in fw when they were in our alliance lol. For what it's worth.

Back in my Gam days when we had a PC vs FA. Rings map, there was a shotgun scout in Bravo as we were counter-hacking it; 2 logo's and 3 heavies there. When we heard the shotgun blasts go off, we ALL spammed grenades. He gets away, we all die from our own team-kill grenades and he walks throw...not run but walks through to take the hack.

Think cisco might have been in that one. Came back with the five cap to bring it to a couple of ticks but we lost by passive damage. We're no fa but these scrubby Latino corps are hilarious the way they get their wins when they do win.

So many battles that held memorable places in all of our hearts!
Looking down from the top for so long, there are a couple particular matches that stand out amongst the rest.
First and foremost.... STB vs IMPS STB was marked for deletion by the powers that be, but they did not go down without a fight!
This was the infancy of PC, where a district could be flipped in 1 sitting, and STB brought in some assistance in the form of Annie Oakley, Calamity Jane, Cubs and a couple other TEAM. I know the videos are around somewhere, but if memory serves... 3 matches in 1 afternoon, ALL of which went down to 1 tick. the entire community had written off STB as this was the IMPS time and they were at their peak as a crew, no one denies that!
Both sides played great matches, and one of the best single days in gaming I have ever experienced. IMPS had finally lost a match, but more importantly was the sheer intensity of those matches. A feeling not easily transcribed to text. And a day that spawned mutual respect from all sides. I think even Quickgloves gained some respect that day lol
Another classic was the ritualistic dismantling of Radar and his band of monkeys, never committing to anything during their stay in EoN. I cannot recall how it started, but OH and TEAM finally squared off, with TEAM coming out victorious (in VERY close matches), but the ensuing days and Outer Heaven proceeding to disappear from Molden Heath, while some @$$hole decided to show mercy and cease with the merciless beatings....
And of course, the entirety of EoN. withstanding attacks from the entire community, and not losing once... (the initial zerg which lasted a few days). The most intense weekend of gaming I've ever been a part of and the ultimate in coordination and teamwork from a group of around 120 people, all on-call and bouncing from match to match, ushering in squads across several matches going on simultaneously, and everyones friend CBJ flappin his gums cause he beat TEAM 1 match.. in a NO SHOW, forcing an auto-reup and suddenly his monkey ass gets redlined and disappears for a few months.

I appreciate being considered in your favorite battles of all time. They were indeed glorious and still hold a place in my heart. I for one have never considered you an enemy of 0.H as you did show us mercy. You prevented 0.H from becoming another Unreal or Arrogance with that mercy. ******* has never escaped my lips when conversing about you (Cubs). The rivalry between 0.H and TP might be perhaps the greatest rivalry of all time. Much respect to a stellar Leader o7. Perhaps a port is on the horizon and Molden Heath will properly burn once again.

One that sticks out was a typical fight Mula vs Bloodline.
They started the war by winning every match against us.
The first win we pulled off against them, we changed our strategy. It came down to 1/2 tick each and they just hacked a 4 cap on us at the end. We also had only 5-6 clones left. Roman was yelling to hack E back...
I was keeping track of the MCC (I can read that thing like a clock) and I told him to run away. I'd promise we'd win.
The screen went black for what seemed like an eternity. Then, Victory. Everyone cheered redneck style.
My mailbox was flooded with mail instantly, claiming that BR should have won. It was a heart pounding fight, and with a huge sense of relief at he end. The whole corp was on cloud 9.
Another, is when I was exchanging sh!t talk with Cap Acq in alliance chat. It finally got so heated, we launched attacks against one another. The CEOs of each side weren't happy with us, but eventually we got to fight one match. We whooped the f*ck out of them.
Also, going into no-shows and launching dropships into orbit :)

Covert Intervention vs STB, DDB, and RND
I remember when STB was expanding into the Northwest Constellation of the Eodulf Region to etch out territory for their campaign vs TEAM i believe. The skarkon solar system was all that stood in the way, unfortunately Gunfall was the only remaining corporation that held territory on SK 2. It's significant to me because it was the first time I was made FC, as well as given an active CEO role when Pryke Bastion had to handle RL. The experience was terrifying. Not only was this my first go into leadership, but we became the final stand for CI. OSG's districts were wiped by quickgloves and the had their eyes set on the last remaining district on the planet.
For one month I lead a vigorous resistance against STB and DDB primarily, winning most defenses by the faintest of chance and opportunity. It got so crazy, that I pulled in randoms from local and still came out on top. Quickgloves finally found out who was leading the charge and extended an Olive branch. The terms were relocation to almur for skarkon... I said **** that 
In hindsight, if I wasn't so attached to the concept of "Homeland", the veteran in me would have accepted the district switch that was offered by gloves in return to what was left of SK 2 D2. Alas, I was fresh noob, and chose the glorious option to fight until the last man....STB launched the following day.
If memory serves me well, the map the final battle took place on was "Iron Delta". A deployment of 350+ clones were dispatched to siege a district occupied by less than 200. I sent my strongest 12 into the city and went toe to toe with the giant that was STB. The fight was as gruesome as the many before, with STB gaining the upper hand forcing my men outside the city. With only the home point objective left, I had every man pull out of the city, with STB in full pursuit of a redline.
As the clouds opened up, a voice spoke to me as I emptied a magazine into my opponent... "Rabbit, we have an orbital!". 13 enemy units were killed on an open field as I had my men flank to enemy home point, while I lead the charge into the city, 3 capping enough to get the MCC win.
This underdog story, as glorious as it was, would only fall short two days later when all of three players would get a disconnect and boot from the Following PC. When most of us were able to trickle back into battle, we were 5 capped with less than 6 ticks left to work with... Thanks CCP =ƒÖä
