I have a new idea. The new item will have these stats/attributes.
- The explosive will detonate only when a dropsuit enters its "detect area"
- Detect Area: 1.5 Meters
- Blast Range: 4 Meters
- Damage: 600
- Max Carried: 3
- Max Active: 2
- Skills Needed: Explosives 3, Demolitions 5

Damage waaaayyyy too high. 450 tops. Scan res not even mentioned. Should light up on your HUD like a Christmas tree even as a commando.

Hello, everyone, i have a similar idea check this :
Plasma Mines (New)
The team Gallenteans ideal targets to defend your mines and traps. (Win 50 WP death and 25 support)
General Purpose
It is similar to the diferecia remote explosive because of its detection system is who touches him which will go flying and also affects armored vehicles, can not join the wall as remote explosives.
Number of Objects Mounted (NOM) is how many of these objects can take your jumpsuit.
Number of Objects Deployables (NOD) is how many of these objects can deploy the configuration of the object and also depends on your broadband.
Bas (Basic):
Damage 400 (Direct Touch) 100 Damage (Damage Explosion) NOM 1 NOD 3 Radio 4 meters (Meters)
Adv (Advanced)
Damage 600 (Direct Touch) 150 damage (damage by explosion) NOD 2 NOM 6 Radio 5 mts
Pro (Prototype)
Damage 800 (Direct Touch) 200 damage (damage Explosion) NOD 3 NOM 9 Radio 6 mts
Variants
It has 3 Rupture, AV (Anti-vehicles) and Assault
Breach Plasma Mine
Specifically to remove only one step and that will be the last step that will provide. (It has more damage and less radio)
Bas
Damage 800 NOD 1 NOM 2 Radio 0 mts (only step that harms the others will not be affected)
Adv
Damage 1200 NOD 2 NOM 4 Radio 0 mts
Pro
Damage 1600 NOD 3 NOM 6 Radio 0 mts
Plasma AV Mine
Only damage to vehicles and no blast radius, so it does not affect other purpose. (Same as breach in every way with the exception that this works only with vehicles)
Bas
Damage 800 NOD 1 NOM 2 Radio 0 mts
Adv
Damage 1200 NOD 2 NOM 4 Radio 0 mts
Pro
Damage 1600 NOD 3 NOM 6 Radio 0 mts
Assault Plasma Mine
This variant is to surprise the enemy, because this has a radar that detects the enemy and if you are in your radio, exploded if the need for the tread. (Minor damage radius increased ) .
Bas
Damage 300 200 damage (damage Explosion) NOD 1 NOM 2 Explosion within 3 meters Scan Radio 1 mts
Adv
Damage 350 200 damage (damage Explosion) NOD 2 NOM 4 Radio 6 mts Scan Radio 2 mts

Note: Maybe some variants of plasma mines require an adjustment, but these are their default values.

Interesting Idea. Damage would have to be heavily checked for broken op stupidity. I already see entire teams planting dozens of these things. It would be best to make them grenades and/or severally limit the number deployed at any one time. (keeping remote detonators useful as well) On the upside, flux grenade sales are on the rise and I am going to drop every isk I can **** into the stock market. =D

From a game design perspective AP proximity mines are generally seen as low-fun gameplay.
It is something that requires very little participation on the act of the attacker, as once a mine is placed it becomes a passive effect on the battlefield, one that no longer requires player action to execute.
Meanwhile it is low fun on the defender side as generally they are hard to spot, deal heavy damage without a way to effectively fight back, and can result in 'cheap deaths'
In a good FPS game player interactions that result in kills should always be active in some way on the part of the attacker. Either by pulling a trigger, doing some action (such as running them over in a vehicle), or triggering explosives to blow them up. AP Proximity mines do none of these things.
