I have a fitting with three complex shield extenders, one krins damage mod and one complex shield recharger for my highs. for my weapons and equipment, I use a proto rail rifle, a proto magsec, a standard locus grenade, and a K2 nanohive. For my lows, I use 2 complex shield regulators and either a complex or enhanced reactive plate. I'm unsure about the plate since I never use the damn thing.

What you have is already a very good shield setup with faster repairing armour, exactly what I have on my State Assault ck.0 and 'Neo' Assault ck.0. If you want more damage, then you will have to sacrifice some of your shield somehow. |

5 shield extenders, ferroscales with 1 repper, basic nanohive, m1 locus nade if you like to be in meat grinders, and depending on which weapon you like, go with whatever you feel best hipfiring with. point is to strafe and abuse hitdetection up close to be seemingly unkillable, and use a weapon with good hit detection to not worry about during hipfire. only use a sidearm if you've got the free cpu/pg to spare or have prof 3-5 in an smg/bolt pistol
you can also put 3 jump mods in place of 3 shield extenders, but the overall fit stays the same unless you switch mass drivers, which appreciate k2s instead of std nanohives.
point is really never put a normal or reactive plate on, you dont want ANY reduced speed on a ck0, and energizers are trash, if you can regen, you're gonna be at full probably anyways, its not worth sacrificing another 88hp which will ALWAYS help.

ive just specced into cal ass and this is pretty much how i fit it. maybe swap a lowslot or two for kincats or damps.
but having no grenade is killing me. this suit always seems gimped in some way compared to the othr races.

Shield tanking takes a special knack that is hard to get used to. You have to put your own survival above kills, which is hard to do if you're coming from other roles that are very offense-oriented (such as the Gal Assault).
My suggestion is to try that fit out. Find some cover, drop your nanohives, and try to put the hurt on your targets from as far away as possible. Don't be afraid to dive into cover frequently. You'll recover far faster than they'll be able to get close to you.
The only downside to this suit is that it's screwed against lasers, is highly susceptible to close quarters combat, and doesn't have any AV capability.

4 extenders/1 recharger/energizer for highs Kincat, regulator and cardiac for the lows(swap cardiac for another regulator if you don't run as much or want to save pg)
No armour. Anyone who suggests armour is filthy and does not deserve to wear caldari suits.
Modules are always a pain to fit.
Drop the breach smg, that's a kids weapon, grab a magsec SMG,they're much better now,and will benifit more on the ck.0.
Carry x-3 quantum nanohives and you should still be able to fit a core locus.
And remember, use the speed from the kincat to get to cover to cover and retreat if needed for sheild charge. Catz out.
Ha!You can't kill me! I'm already dead!

i agree it works brilliantly for what it does. but i never seem to have enuff fitting space. most other suits u can at least fill all the slots. i guess thats just coz shield mods are stupidly power hungry.

Your fit looks pretty good already. I use:
2 enhanced energisers 3 complex shields 2 shield regulators 1 complex kinetic catalyser (recommended) Ishikone Assault rail rifle TY-5 breach scrambler pistol Core locus grenades Creodron flux active scanner |

I generally don't, not with that suit. It isn't suited for the CQC that often is entailed with objective work. If I do, I make sure the area is clear or I have friends backing me up. However, if that is the case, I usually let them do the hacking and cover them since I'm better suited for that.

Being as Caldari suits are designed to be weak against lasers, I would hope so. Everything must have a reasonable counter.
Genral69 death wrote: No granade? Not even a basic or sleek
Unfortunately not enough CPU. I try not to default to grenades anyhow with this suit because if they're close enough to be hit by a grenade they're close enough to hit with the rail rifle.
