Lebron has been carrying a sorry ass Cleveland team for quite sometime now.
Breaking it down into defence and offence.
Lebron has the strong D, mind you the SF market in the NBA atm is terribad, so he doesn't have to defend much, and he's far too athletic to defend PF's so he just smothers them.
MJ was never known for his defence and based on the scoring avg's of the league back then, defence was an after thought, avg scoring was around 105 points/game!. Just shoot and make rebounds, ground and pound haha.
Could Lebron defend MJ?..........**** that's a hard question.
Offence is basically a no contest.
MJ was pure magic when it came to shot conversion, lethal post fade, lethal penetration, lethal outside shot and could create space on almost anything.
Lebron (firstly this is my opinion of it), is more muscular and strength orientated than MJ. So Lebron has solid penetration and finish. But that jumpshot........SMH still after all these years.
Could MJ defend Lebron at the basket? I personally don't think so but MJ wouldn't bother letting it get to there, he would just give lebron space and make him shoot mid range.
TL:DR
Lebron has more than enough strength and athleticism to defend MJ, but MJ is MJ and he'll find magical ways to score 50 points on Lebron's ass.
Lebron would be forced into low percentage shots by MJ just giving him room on account of Lebron's jumper.
dust is life...
... uncertain, and usually pretty dissapointing.
