The only reason I ever used proto was because I really loved how badass the logistics AK.0,scout AK.0,viziam scrambler pistol and duvolle assault rifle looked. Other than that. Meh. And certain modules. Other than that I loved wrecking people with a milita shotgun or assault rifle or scrambler pistol blueprint. I loved putting that thing in the kill feed. Also my waifu is best. Ha!You can't kill me! I'm already dead!

Whether it's worth it is another matter. Depends on how much you value isk, winning or stomping. It's rare that you can make isk using proto in an even fight.

Yeah I've got all 5 gallente standard BPOs, 3/5 of the LP gallente BPO suits, i've got exile assault rifle, toxin smg, and a bunch of millitia BPO modules back when they were dirt cheap in beta.

A Prototype Suit will yield better stats than a non-Prototype suit (HP, Damage, Regen, Speed, E-war, etc.). In the "Power per ISK" way, no. That is by design. The only reasons to not use Prototype gear are: 1. You do not have the SP. 2. You do not have the ISK. 3. You are going for some meta-benefit ("Lawl, tots killed that proto guy with my militia suit!" "I don't need Prototype!" "I want a challenge errgghh-hur." So mostly Epeen) There is nothing wrong with Number 3 providing you understand why you are doing it. It is no different than people using Knife Only to get a end a match with a nuclear strike or Hearthstone players starting a new account to get to Legend in a month. "This is B.S! This is B.S! I paid money! Cash money, dollars money, cash money!"

Edit:don't care about numbers. I'd rather run milita weapons because its a real challenge. For equipment i'd say yes. Repair tools not only get an hp/s upgrade,but also a second beam. Pure triage hives are only available in pro. Nanite injectors get 40% (up to 100%) ADV equipment,unlike weapons,becomes garbage after you skill to Pro. Official Blueberry of the Forums. I don't like to rely on skill ROFL
